Thanks! I tried finding a thread but couldn't, sorry! Every time I see a s550, whether in real life or pictures, I can't help but look. I'm not looking to drag race so I think a regular gt and building it would be the way to go. The Shelby's are just so awesome Haha. Thanks for your help!
Alright, I'm sure this might be a question that brings biased questions, but I'm undecided between a 13/14 or a a new gt with a Roush. I mean, the shelby would be amazing, but I can get a new car with warranty and about the same power. They'd be about the same price. Thanks for your help!
Was yours installed by a ford/roush dealer? What do you do for gauges? I've seen some. Guys have it added to their lcd display between their tac and speedo
I was actually very anti roots blowers. I am an industrial mechanic and we are always taught twin screw are more efficient. Justin has taught me and proved to me their tvs' are awesome. I'm not one to fan boy. But the warranty is just an ease of mine thing.
Awesome. Thanks. Maybe I will continue with them. Waiting on word from my dealership. Shouldn't be too hard to swap a vmp on after the warranty is done, hey? I would like to be around 700 whp at the end. I get that includes upgrading other components.
Stage 1 is. Phase one is a supercharger upgrade.
I should note that I'm not looking to drag race or anything. Just want something fun for the street, which is why a gt500 has my attention. Though I did test drive a 15 yesterday and those ac seats are amazing.
Alright, here's my predicament. I'll be looking to buy a stang in the next couple months but am having trouble on deciding. I'll either get a 13/14 gt500, but for less money I can get a new gt with a Roush phase 1 and warranty. It's about the same power but less torque. I've been looking through...
That's my plan. Trade my 14 in 2 years for this baby. Of course it's going to be a daily driver. Why buy a car and not drive it. Of course, being Canadian it will hibernate half the year
Damn, I'm from Canada and we got hit hard. The gtpp I was gonna get was 51 after taxes. And that was with a-plan! I ended up getting a 14 for a ridiculous 20 grand off instead. You guys are lucky Haha
I'm sceptical too. I think he was just telling me shit to try and get me to buy new Haha. I can see the time pumping about 400 torque. With a time on the 3.5 ecoboost it jumps it up a hundred torque.
Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know what I was told last week:
I went and test drove an '11 GT500 with "700" hp as i was told. Thing was super fast, loud and awesome. I told my Ford guy though that it might be too much car for my first sports car. He told me he'd give me a call when the '15...
