Was about 50 degrees today and decided to finally put some Stabil in it. It was already put away for the winter.
But just noticed the mileage exactly at 17,500. I couldn't even plan that 😂
Thanks I actually did this when I changed it this summer. It's really the only recorded oil change that I can find...
I plan on changing oil once a year because I don't put many miles on.
If I have any sanity left in me, it's nearly completely gone by December.....and that's only a couple months into winter.
Lucky for me, I now have a heated shop. So I can work on them. Mainly doing paint correction and detailing.
Thanks for the help everyone! I actually run E85 in my 03 cobra. I've been storing it for years with 91 non oxygenated fuel. I tested some ethanol that was in a VP racing jug from last fall and it tested fine. I'm considering storing that with E85 and I use Lucas ethanol treatment in that...
It can feel uneasy at times, but if it's secured correctly they are very safe. I personally feel uncomfortable using jack stands and always put extra safety measurements in place.
In saying that, I prefer a 4 post for better storage and I can still wrench on my car.
Hey guys,
We purchased our 350 this May. Winter storage isn't far away for us in Minnesotans. I'm wondering if I should store the car with a certain stabilizer? I generally prefer using Seafoam.
My cars are stored in a dry low humidity shop. I generally keep it at 63-65 degrees.
Thanks...
Maybe that's why mine was reading 14.5 for quite some time. Because I only periodically put it on a battery tender. I've only put maybe 150 miles on it since May.
For some reason the multi quote feature didn't work for me. I appreciate the info. The last few months I've just never seen the volt gauge fluctuate like this, let alone go below 14 volts.
This is some good information, I appreciate it. Is the factory battery still under the 3yr/36,000? I really don't want to bring it in for a battery. And is there a better battery option?
Maybe I'll take it out for a spin again and see what it does.
Hey guys,
I noticed today my 19 350 when starting it the dash volts only showed 12.9 volts. It's normally at 14-14.5 volts, even when driving. I only drove it for a short time. I seen the volt gauge fluctuate from 12.5-14.4 volts. The high voltage side didn't last long at all. Towards the...
Hey everyone,
My rear tires are missing some chunks of rubber. You can't tell from the pictures, but these have a lot of tread left.
We bought the car beginning of May, so I can't tell you how many miles are on them.
The picture shown is the largest piece, maybe the size of a dime. There...
Not as much as we should. They all can be driven. It actually gets a little overwhelming having this many. We also have a 90 7 up edition vert that's at the house garage for the summer. Within a year we have bought 4 mustangs. Prior we just had the 03 cobra and 90 coupe.
