That's awesome!
I do have some low profile Race Ramps. But ideally want to use my 4 post lift.
I guess I got lucky? My car already has the resonator delete. Does this mean the switch for the exhaust sound doesn't matter?
Thank you! My buddy said I'll end up driving this car a lot more...
I'm about to attempt my first oil change on this car. Is removing the front tire a must?
Kudos to Rock Auto, they had the best price on motorcraft oil and shipped fast.
Hey guys,
Can anyone help me find this part? Or what is it called? It's right in front of the rear tires. I'm missing the drivers side.
Looks like a plastic deflector or guard.
Took delivery of my 19 Shelby today. Man I wish the previous owner protected the paint because it has a fair amount of rock chips...
Oh well, just means I won't be scared to drive it.
Well the car arrived today. It appears to have a lot rock chips than I was aware of....but pictures only show so much.
Can anyone tell me if I have aftermarket exhaust? I see it has band clamps and wouldn't think that's factory. I'll be getting it on the lift soon and changing the oil. I...
Exactly.
I live in Minnesota. Temps can be as low as -40 degrees. Much different than living in Florida 😂.
I think a lot of it can depend on where you live. Absolutely no small engine repair shops around here recommend running any ethanol. And that's always their first question. "What...
Where did I say it wasn't? Maybe on efi car...not small engines. No seals on small engines have been replaced to specifically run any ethanol.
You keep doing you and I'll keep doing me. Sorry, but I won't run any ethanol in my 67 fastback either..
Doubtful. I store properly and used seafoam. Even small engines shop around here said the same thing. Don't run that "crap" in small engines.
My car that is running E85 is specifically set-up for it....
Oh I agree 100%. It has it's place. Obviously if a person is running E85 it's for a reason.
Years ago the 10% ethanol fuel gummed up my snowblower carburetor. Replaced it a run strictly non oxygenated fuel for my small engines.
People just better be prepared to pay more for non oxygenated...
You see I don't daily drive my mustang.....
It's merely a toy. I daily drive a 21 f150. Ethanol has it's place. No I would never run it in our 67 fastback, but to say it belongs in booze and not alcohol...
For enthusiast that are looking for max HP, nearly detonation proof, better throttle...
Well it's a poor man's race fuel. I personally could careless what mph I get in a mustang.
E85 is basically 105 octane. 700rwhp is smiles per gallon.
To each their own.
Don't get me wrong I love E85 and strictly run it in my 03 cobra. But like others mentioned it ruins small engines.
Luckily I have 91 non oxygenated fuel here, definitely cost more. I run it in all of our older mustangs.
I ordered 10 o-rings from AutoNation Ford. Only .55 cents a package. I think it comes with 2 o-rings per package, but not 100% certain. They were a special order, but at least I'll have a bunch.
Congrats!
I also have a 2019 GT 350 on the way! Mines in Arizona and I live in Minnesota. I recently purchased a 90 7 up edition vert out of New York. Shipping was through Montway auto transport. That cost 1800 dollars, but they basically use broker's like everyone else.
The dealership I...
