It's my opinion that the straps should be positioned outside of the bracket. Until my dealer receives the kit to repair, I have reinserted the brackets back in place and they stay put for a couple of cycles. With the straps inside the bracket they pop out on the first cycle. I may be all wrong...

Yes. The slave cylinder had signs of moisture on it so they replaced it. That seems to have taken care of the issue.

Do we know what is causing the brackets to be pulled out?

I had the same issue with the clutch not rebounding. Dealer changed out the master cylinder and all is well.

I see that this kit is for fastback only and will not fit the vert. Anyone know why? Is there another kit for that application?

Brought mine in yesterday to have the ordered parts installed which did not take the tech very long to complete. Unfortunately however, upon the first use of the top the brackets disconnected. Rescheduled again for repair.

I have had similar issues with my trans and have been told the same. Not sure if it is related but I am bringing the car in today for what I call a intermittent sticking clutch. Lets see what kind of runaround I get from this.

With regards to the drone, removing the sound pipe system seem to help with my system by reducing the drone some.
