  1. Whipple Installation

Hey man, treating me well. Did some normal driving around since the last post, all is well. Track is open here but due to some vaca time and business travel in April I likely won’t make it there until sometime in May. Still need to schedule lift time to install axles and BMR diff bushings...
  2. nGauge Boost Box Datalog

Thanks for the explanation on boost readings. The Lund seems to come with a custom log file (*.ng) so when you go to "datalog" you can see all the PID's in a list. When I hit my "datalog" button it says "datalogging not available". I think it's because there's no file in that folder on the...
  3. nGauge Boost Box Datalog

Yeah, angle not %, right there in front of me, I'm a dope. Thanks for the input on boost.
  4. nGauge Boost Box Datalog

Thanks Jay-rod! I was curious to see if pedal position I was seeing (83-84%) was normal and if boost bouncing around, but within a good range was also normal. You log a ton of PID's. My nGauge can only log like 24, or at least that's all I can hit the "star" on. Is this because mine is HP...
  5. nGauge Boost Box Datalog

Looking to see if someone w/ nGauge and Lund boost box can share either a screen cap or log file of a WOT datalog that shows: - boost - RPM - load - ETC_ACT - ETC_DSD
  6. Whipple Installation

I'd say this weekend was the first REAL drive. Logged some 7.2K hits in 3rd and 4th. Logs looked clean, very pleased. Both Octane Adj. and Knock Limiting were turned off, all other Whipple factory flare settings left as is. 93 octane up here is pretty good and I felt comfortable with these...
  7. Joined the Whipple Club, Any Advice For a First Timer?

The are a million threads about OPG & TS. Just do some searching and reading and decide for yourself if they are needed for YOUR application. I'd focus on posts the last year or so. Some did them, some didn't. I'm in the "didn't" camp from the research I did and people I talked to about MY...

Also depends what you want, do you care about emissions and live in a CARB state (like me), might want to opt for Whipple package complete system with CARB EO. If not, either of the shops smoke mentioned can set you up with a custom package and tune.
  9. Need some help deciding wheel for drag setup

Yup, been down this road before with previous car, it’s not that bad. Certainly not the greatest feeling, but just gotta nut up and keep it to the wood. Wish track was closer, just don’t feel like changing 4 tires.
  10. Need some help deciding wheel for drag setup

Finally got them mounted and balanced. First test drive in the books. Fit great, no rub. Car hauls ass, haha
  11. Whipple 2.9 Belt

That part number is from the belt that drives the AC compressor (BR3E 6C301 LA). it's only 34" long.
  12. Whipple 2.9 Belt

This whipple chart helps. Shows pulley size to belt length. Also the newer routing for reference.
  13. Whipple Installation

FINALLY! After a few weeks of waiting for some decent weather, today was the first drive. Cool day, ~50*. - Part throttle drivability is fantastic. Ran some errands, sat in a some traffic, light to light, it was mint. I was fearful that there would be some issues (stumbling, hesitation...
  14. Boosted Engine bays!

Thanks man, appreciate it. I definitely took my time and was pretty finicky about how hoses, cables, etc were routed. If you compared this with my first power adder install (Nitrous Express wet kit on a 99GT), I've come a long way, haha. Really happy with the end result, much of it owed to...
  15. Boosted Engine bays!

This thread was a helpful visual during the whipple install, here's how mine came out.
  16. Whipple Installation

Answered this in a PM, but will again here for anyone else wondering. UPR doesn’t sell the d/s CSS portion of the whipple kit on its own. I emailed their general sales support and they were quick to respond and very helpful. They created a custom order and had it sent out to me the same day...
  17. Whipple Installation

Awesome, keep us posted. Should get into the 11's easily I think, even on those tires. Our local track opens 4/3, I'm targeting end of April early May due to work travel and other life stuff. Hoping I have enough to sneak into the 10's.
  18. Whipple Installation

Good info, thank you! Are you planning a trip to a track soon? I'm concerned about going to 5th in the 1/4 which I believe is inevitable. Already looking at a 3.31 gear swap in the near future.
