  1. Introduce yourself!!

Hello all! I just picked up a Mach 1 in Columbus OH. Sold my HCI c5 last year, and wanted a gt350, but fell in love with FJG. Already installed an x pipe, steeda jacking rails, front HP fender lips, HP wing and front spliter on order, SVE R350s incoming this week, and steeda dual rate...
  2. Better ride, latest Honda Accord or base Mustang

The 13+ accord is the best accord to date IMO. If the couple came with an lsd and much better tires it would be hard to beat for a long term fun/practical car. 16 will get a refresh and probably a tech upgrade. I haven't looked at the new Camry but the past few years Toyota interior quality...
  3. Dealer counter attack

We can go back and forth but I will cease after I say my peace... In terms of the grading it is an 0-100% scale after it is compiled from the survey, the scores are calculated out as a percentage if you mark 5, that is 50% (there are sub categories each hold different weight), then an...
  4. Dealer counter attack

You need to go work retail where you are graded and scrutinized on these survey systems... just saying, it would change your logic...anyway I will have to agree to disagree...so 50% is a passing grade, because that is your baseline, if you do 50% of anything, you did not pass or complete your...
  5. Dealer counter attack

for what its worth I do not either, if someone does a job worth of my praise I will call their superior and let them know, that's the best survey anyone could ever get.
  6. Dealer counter attack

What happens is the dealers use the survey scores as compensation to their employees, which is the dealers decision, no manufacturer suggests they do that, but image your a service advisor and the cashier is rude to your customer, they go home and slam the advisor on the survey, now the advisor...
  7. This actually might be my first and last Ford

There are good dealer and bad dealers...they all have one thing in common, being defensive because of a small group of devious and unreasonable customers that accused the dealer staff of damage, or getting mad when the they don't like the truth and feel dealers and manufactuers "owe" them...
  8. Alignment gurus.... I need your advice! ( DEALER INSTALLED SPRING UPSIDE DOWN)

Just Google some springs you will see a lot of companies put the tight would section at the top, some on the bottom, its just how springs work, but the may not have seated that spring in properly...
  9. Alignment gurus.... I need your advice! ( DEALER INSTALLED SPRING UPSIDE DOWN)

This is not a mustang bucket obviously but it illustrates the point!
  10. Alignment gurus.... I need your advice! ( DEALER INSTALLED SPRING UPSIDE DOWN)

get the spring to your liking and get the alignment dialed in, make sure everything is tight and go from there, its not working going back and forth on, but the spring direction in my opinion is not the culprit, the spring rate is the same no matter what direction it is in. Also make sure they...
  11. Alignment gurus.... I need your advice! ( DEALER INSTALLED SPRING UPSIDE DOWN)

I would hypothesis its the weight difference, you should also have a fullish tank of gas and have weights in the drivers seat or be in it.
  12. Alignment gurus.... I need your advice! ( DEALER INSTALLED SPRING UPSIDE DOWN)

Progressive springs can be installed either way, its a spring, doesn't matter, however I would like them both installed the same way just because. The reason it feels squirrely is the positive toe in the rear. streets cars usually run slight toe in for stability, get them to slight toe in all 4...
  13. 2015 GT PP -TICK/SCRATCHY/GRINDING noise(Issue Gradually Going Away)

I didnt read through all this, so if this is rehash I I apologize, does the noise go away with the clutch pushed in? Was a Z guy for many years, our cars were notorious for idle racket from the trans gear lash, the dual mass flywheel was purposely used to mask it.
  14. Forgestar Wheels Cracking

I have no affiliation with forgestar, but cmon...it happens, some times its a defect other times its a pothole...you think most owners will admit that...
  15. Squealing sound when braking?

Are these calipers designed with a traditional retainer for the pads to slide in? if so I would ask the dealer to trim them...we had a similar issue with accords and the retainers were too wide and would contact the rotors when the wheel was turned...just a shot in the dark. Or it could be...
  16. ***UPDATE!*** Ford's policy on loaner cars during warranty repairs

Ford is not the only car company that does not cover loaners, it would raise the cost of the cars if they did and most dealers reject this and will not support it, so it never happens. With the dealer providing a loaner, it depends usually on the dealer size, they are a sizable expense, so...

  18. Is it worth waiting for the SYNC 3 ?

Yes but for some reason I want leather and the other pp options, I did not have leather in my last sports car but for some reason want it and the toggle switches if I buy a new one...the little things..but if I buy it and all I do is fight with MFT ill be pissed.
  19. 2016 GT Release Date/Question

Honestly I kept the base stereo in my Z, had no tech what so ever, my previous car had a dual touch screen car PC with everything, and did I miss it yes but not enough to even swap the HU in my Z...I used the aux in and played music from the phone, it was good enough for a sports car. Really...
