  1. 2019 Bullitt Best Exhaust

I went with the Ford Performance X-pipe and the Borla Type S axle-back mufflers. I would have stayed with the stock mufflers as the sound is great but I could not stand the thin, cheap look of the factory tips. Chargers, Camaros and Vettes all have good looking tips and then there’s the Ford...
  2. Black or Green ?

I’d have went with black too. Pretty much a lock the green won’t match the DHG anyway.
  3. Can you tell the different between 87 and 93 octane?

I’m usually not one of those guys but in all seriousness, if you are even contemplating using 87 octane then buy a Camry.
  4. CJ PONY WHERE ARE YOU???

Their business is definitely NOT hurting.
  5. Catless w/Flowmasters Outlaw

I truly hope you live in the country far away from others...
  6. Long Tube Headers....

Long tube headers are definitely not a good “bang for your buck” modification. I also believe long term reliability(since you mention keeping for a long time to pass on) will be greatly compromised by added power levels the engine was not really designed for.
  7. What does this mean in car fax?

What did you really expect to see after only 1100 miles?
  8. 255/35/20 tires on 9.5 wheels?

I have 255/40/20 in Pilot Sport 4S and they are fine on my 9.5” Shelby CS11’s.
  9. Oil Catch Cans

I have the JLT on the passenger side and the FP on the driver side(I just cut the plastic hoses and used the fittings w/my own tubing). I don’t drive terribly hard & the passenger side always has 3-4 ounces every oil change. I would recommend one for that side. Otherwise, it’s going straight...
  10. Drilling weep holes into new Borla?

I don’t have an answer for you but do have Borla S type mufflers and would like to know if this is beneficial.
  11. Anyone else having this issue with exhaust?

It’s actually a lot ridiculous, but it is the only mod worth any money I put on the car and when I turn it in hopefully I can get back $500 or so. So in my self-justified way of thinking, I’ll only have paid $700 (I got them on a good deal from CJ’s).
  12. Anyone else having this issue with exhaust?

I was so disappointed in the cheap look of the Ford exhaust that I upgraded the mufflers to the Borla Type S with the black tips. Corvette, Charger, Challenger, Camaro etc all have rolled tips that make the Mustang’s look really cheap and flimsy.

They ride like stock. If you look at most tire/rim charts, a 9.5” rim is recommended with a minimum of 245 width and maximum of 275 with 255/265 being recommended. The sidewall is flush with the lip of the rim.

They are 9.5” w/ 255/40/20 in the front and 11” w/295/35/20 in the rear. Not sure of the offset, but the rear does stick out a bit further than stock. They are definitely lighter wheels.

I still have the Bullitt wheels. I will put them back on when I sell the car as I usually only keep cars about 2 years. Here is a pic...

Welcome and enjoy the new ride! I suggest 2 major mods: the Steeda Stop the Hop kit and a Tune by James, 93 or E85... or both.
  17. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Installed Borla S mufflers. Fills out the valence much better and sounds terrific!
  18. Finally got me a mustang again

Awesome! That is a really sharp looking GT.
