  1. My Mustang got a new big brother!!

Traded off my old Super Duty for a new truck. Was waiting to do a '15, but decided to check out rebates being offered on the '14's. With $4000 in rebates and A-Plan, seemed like the way to go. Obviously, when I saw this truck, it was pretty much a no-brainer. Like two pees in a pod! So, our...
  2. Hello from Missouri!

Nice looking Beemer. Keeping it also, or trading it in on the '15? What kinda mods you got in mind?
  3. Hello from Missouri!

Welcome SpaceGhost. KCTRENDS will do a top notch job. I'll either bring mine there or to Chux Trux. I'm also wanting to get Shelby super snake stripes installed on mine and they'll do it at Chux. So I just may end up doing the stripes and tint at the same time at Chux. Tell us about your...
  4. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Took the wife and kids shopping and put groceries in the trunk. Actually wanted to wash it today, but just didn't have the time.
  5. My experience: Installing JLT and getting custom tuned yesterday.

I believe we all wish there were no limits when it comes to making these cars ours.
  6. Battery access for GTPP

It's very simple. It is located right by the passenger side hood hinge. As mentioned, there are three thumb screws and the cover comes right off. There are a couple tabs sticking out along the rear edge that slip back into a pair of slots. Just make sure you align them up when putting the...
  7. What CAI Did You Choose?

Once you install a new tune, there is an electronic counter in the computer keeping track of how many times it's been 'flashed'. So, even if you do the Steeda, or the JLT or any other that requires a tune, you turn it back to stock all you want, but the evidence is still there that it has been...
  8. Racing stripes

That combo looks so good. Hadn't seen it with the rocker stripes continuing on either side of the wheels like that. Just so used to seeing it below the door only.
  9. My experience: Installing JLT and getting custom tuned yesterday.

I know. I type it that way, but just doesn't end up with them. May try spacing a blank line. Sorry about that.
  10. PP Manifold Cover

I was able to slip mine out underneath the strut tower brace. Little tight, but had it on and off a bunch of times, including just yesterday when installing my JLT cai. But, in a case that 2Cool just cited dealing with fresh paint, I too would lift the strut tower brace.
  11. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

Just took mine off, but have not driven the car yet. I don't care, because THAT is what a clutch is supposed to feel like. A clutch should feel like a recurve bow, not a compound bow. Completely linear and not proportional.
  12. My experience: Installing JLT and getting custom tuned yesterday.

Just took the spring off. Haven't driven it, but THAT is what a clutch pedal should feel like. Thanks for the tip! I completely missed that thread.
  13. My experience: Installing JLT and getting custom tuned yesterday.

Yesterday was a fun day. Weather finally cooperated and was able to meet up with Bob Engel, the local 5.0 Coyote tuner guy. He is very into the whole 5.0 Coyote tuning, just went to the instructional seminar on tuning the new '15 versus the previous years where the guys from Revolution Auto...
  14. Has MustangG6 Membership Accelerated Your Purchase?

If that happens and you end up coming to Missouri, shoot me a pm and I'll come down and head up the welcoming committee!
  15. FS.Stainless Works H-Pipe CBE

Well, this one isn't all bent up like some of the new ones have been.
  16. FS.Stainless Works H-Pipe CBE

As the original owner of this particular catback setup, I can attest to its condition. I even rewrapped the exhaust tips in plastic wrap as they were when originally shipped from S.W.
  17. SOLD "Stainless Works Cat Back-H Exhaust"

Boy that was fast! Good deal!
  18. Stainless Works 2015 5.0L GT Exhaust Video

I used a buddy's UPS account. From Kansas City to Connecticut it was about $76 I think, but I paid a little extra to insure the box. The weight came in to the point where the cost bumped up some.
