i have 20 inch staggered Velgens with 255/35 in the front and 295/35 in the rear. Perfect fitment and no rubbing whatsoever with the eibach sportlines.
I have mine under the rear deck. I can open the trunk and the settings are facing you if you needed to adjust. You don't know it's there until you look for it.
I have not seen a bypass module yet available. keep checking www.omegaweblink.com every now and then for the module. Once it's on there, the install will be no big deal.
I have it routed like you mentioned into the passenger kick panel. Wired it to ignition. It has pretty cool features as well as the screen for playback.
If you were willing to drive down to south florida I would tell you to use Lujan Motorsports. He is very very clean and has an in house dyno. He did the vortech install on my s550.

just an fyi, I have the vortech JT trim blower and mine is hitting the hood just like yours. I put a couple of small washers on the hood latch(hood side) and it's working but I have a gap. I think I will use the UPR motor mounts to bring the motor down a bit and hopefully that helps. Mine is...
