  1. Wiring my flow gauge, anyone know what wire to use for instrument panel lights?

It says on the PDF next to the wire, its pin 15 at the headlight switch. Two over from 15 at pin 13 is the other violet wire which is for the autolamp position, pin 12 is blue so if you see that go 3 over the other direction. It should also say on the plug itself.
  2. How big is this S550 A/C evaporator issue?

So I guess you don't have to live in a humid state for it to go out, again and again and again...
  3. How big is this S550 A/C evaporator issue?

I got my car in August of 2015 and noticed that the air wasn't very cold but didn't really think twice about it, then by the time I needed it next summer it had leaked all winter and didn't work AT ALL. So the dealer "fixed" it, which failed in less than a week and by then a lot of people were...
  4. How big is this S550 A/C evaporator issue?

Mine has gone out three times and the car only has 18,000 on it.. and I live in Washington where I get to use it about 3 times a year. Every summer I've had the car it hasn't worked.

  6. Safe & Smart Package

Its obvious that haven't extensively driven a modern car that has all the alerts if you think they're a bull horn or something.. the forward collision warning flashes a small strip of leds and slightly lowers the music volume to sound the "door open" chime. Its not a siren with a million...
  7. Safe & Smart Package

Seriously though.. If you'd rather save the money thats cool, but technology has its place in the modern car, its not 1962 anymore. People complained when seat-belts and ABS first came out too... My car has all the nannies, all of which can be easily turned off, but the times they have saved my...

  11. DIY LED Shift Light: CAN Bus Hack

When I added adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning to my car I had to replace the defroster grille piece with the one that has the cutout for the HUD. After I wired in the HUD and programmed it I saw that you could probably make it have the factory shift lights like on the gt350...
  12. Electronic tech question (2018 400A vs 401A)

I have sync 3 in my Mustang and it does not need an iPhone or any phone connected to it to use nav. No feature in sync 3 needs a phone connected to work. At any trim level with sync (with or without nav) or without the touch screen you can still pair your phone to make and receive calls. As long...
  13. Forescan for 2013 GT500

On all Mustangs older than '15, the GEM/SJB is the BCM, new cars have it listed as BCM vs GEM but the module address is 726 for both.
  14. A/C cold only on passenger side

I've had this issue the entire time I've owned the car but still absolutely love the hell out of it. Then I walk outside the other day and noticed the hood paint bubbling like it did on my '06... Ford said they had fixed that years ago.
  15. A/C cold only on passenger side

My car just hit 18K and is going in for its 3rd evaporator core, one per summer. Looks like ford is replacing garbage with garbage.

  17. Adding OEM Rain Sensing Wipers

I had gotten a couple requests to post a separate thread specifically about how I added rain sensing wipers to my 2015 ecoboost premium.
