It could be 1 of 3 things or combo of the 3.
1) just axle nut, replace with a new design or tighten it back down and call it a day.
2) it is the thrust/friction washer that comes loose and is clanking around. Remive and done or replace. I left mine off.
3) wheel bearing.
Or combo. On both of...
Hey jet i have described mine exactly the same, smalll light piece of tin or metal hitting against another solid heavier piece of metal. Like if you took the lid off of a metal can and dragged it across a solid haevy piece with some torque on it which now makes sense.
What was the piece you...
I posted before but I had one in my pp 2016. Based on what some.have already also posted, I took mine out and simply did not replace it as the new one I had was the same exact size. My first one on driver side was completely warped and it was the source of the noise 100%.
After the shop and...
Did mine 8 months ago at about 29000 miles. Mine turned out to be the friction washer on the driver side only as well. Hub is still good. Read these pages and went thru an elimination process to get to the end result, being the washer. Like 2 others mentioned in this epic thread, i did not...
Your youtube links appear to be broken, video not available is the message. Can you post your youtube page link as text so i can copy and past to listen to what you have. I might be able to help with my own experience
your links appear to be broken, I would like to hear it before i tell you if its the same thing, most likely it is, i had to deal with it coming from the PS rear about 30k miles in.
Yea so if you buy the valance off him, you will have to at least change your mufflers and tips (they should come together and cost about 1k brand new with dual tips on two mufflers made by Borla but sold by Ford Racing Performance) You might be able to pick it up cheaper or you might want to...
Back to you original query. If you were to get the actual 350 Ford Valance/diffuser it would run by itself about 600-700 pre tax so if you can get the guy to sell u his for 300 or so, it would be a deal and better than any third party made valance e.g. MP or Roush....Roush valance design is not...
You have the quad tip FRP exhaust system already but not the valance, how does it currently sit with your stock rear valance? i think you are off on something. IF they are single tip ones then ok but you cant use those for the dual tip valance you plan on buying if that makes sense.
I also have a 16 GT PP and went with the FRP made by Borla quad tip cat back and valance (the Shelby valance to house the new quad tips. I believe it is the same one off of actualy 350 so it should be a simple swap. It took me about 2 hours total with my son who is 16 on a rented lift, we are...
Just get the longer ones you wont regret it. I had the same dilemma but went with the new longer ones and dont regret the extra few bucks for a car i will have for years and will have to jack up more than once a year.
Has to be something stupid like that, it just makes no sense otherwise, still a good laugh tho. Wonder if they get penalized for pulling an item off due to no inventory or something.
Who can refuse? I mean the gougers out there are trying to get about a $100 for this bottle but this is just a hole notha level ...10 x what your closest fellow gouger wants is precious...I guess they have had a some people buy it because its been at that price for a while now so its not a typo lol
Saw this on Ebay after looking for some Castrol srf for a bleed that is due before next track day...shame on BMA parts in Glendale CA for either being ignorant, which I doubt or just plain greedy as f for a hard to get fluid at the moment, good for a laugh at least thanks.
For anyone looking to replace their friction washer, here is the part # for 15-17 GTs, not sure if it's same for 18 and newer.
PART # FR3Z 7G273 A 1X damn washer cost $17 + tax....
