I went 10.3 @ 136 with a Whipple stage 1 on my 18 in good air with 93 octane. I think if I converted to a stage 2, mainly the bigger throttle body and pulley down combined with a retune I would be damn close in good air.
I contemplated it, but I’m waiting for my MMR oil pump gear and crankshaft gear to come in. It’s time to turn it up, I’ll wait till early spring.
14-15psi of boost. Bet there running 100 octane with the boostane plus the catless longtube headers. Again they make it seem like it is such a stock car.
I want to see 10-11psi on straight 93 octane with NO additives and complete stock exhaust. That’s the Dyno graph I am interested in.
well there you go that answers the question, thank you. Boostane has a ratio on their website, but as you stated it depends on how much fuel is in the tank and what octane your starting with.
don’t take the Internet so seriously. We will never know what a “splash” means according to “VMP”. What we do know is that the Whipple and Edlebrock kits perform similarly. I am assuming the VMP will perform similarly as well, but time will tell.
Exactly what I said when VMP said a “splash”.
I want to see a stock mustang add the VMP kit with nothing else. No headers, no converter, no boostane, no torco, no MS109 nothing. Just a 93 custom tune. Hit the track on a drag radial and let’s see what it will do. That will prove what the...
All these blowers are so close. VMP, Edlebrock, Whipple. Take an Edlebrock stage 2 or a Whipple stage 2 with a “splash” of boostane and it will make very similar power.
