#6 was the car I drove when I was out there...at the very first Track Attack! it had like 250 miles on it at the time. I can't believe you didn't enjoy the skid car as much this time...perhaps it was the company you were keeping ;-)

an excellent choice mine's AG but very similar.

I just replaced my originals a couple weeks ago. no track time on them and some tread remaining (at ~7k miles) but they were just out of grip.

I've daily'd mine for 2+ years now...carbon wheels / cup 2's and mine's a base model. zero issues with the car and zero issues driving it daily other than the occasional driveway scrape.

FWIW, the term that I think you're trying to use is 'peace of mind'...the idea that your decision, or option, will give you peace. I find it somewhat ironic, but not surprising, that you're referring to a 'piece' of mind...which would imply less than 100% of a mind. You may also have it...

so yours is a base 16 in AG, no stripes...black roof or no? #33...mine's #39 base AG stripes no roof. I got mine in Jan '16 and have about 8k miles on it...all street. I have a strong preference for fully-built cars when I go on track so I haven't tracked mine.
