Please allow me to recommend the FI Interchiller Stage 2 kit. Seriously, it will completely solve your issues once for all. Last summer we installed the kit I got from @beefcake along with the upgraded Pierburg CWA 400 water pump and the differences have been like night and day... My Roush P2...

The ones I have are actually made from aluminum and powdered so I guess they are slightly better quality overall than some of the other options out there

My Roush P2 22 GT runs better than it ever has after the install of this kit. No regrets, the FI Interchiller kit works like a charm.

After installing FI kit and Reisch 170 degree thermostat I noticed drastic improvement in overall engine temps across the board…however, to answer your question directly, no the SC system is usually on a completely different system than the other Freon

For reference, I have a 22’ GT with Roush P2 kit and FI Interchiller Stage 2 kit and my blower inlet lines have ice built up on them in the warmest weather…

Install an FI Interchiller stage 1 or 2 kit, (preferably stage 2) and be done.

@beefcake can definitely give some sound advice here. In fact, I believe he sells rebuild kits for the 6r80. @beefcake will give you an idea of cost either way...if you chose to ship it off to someone for rebuild or buy rebuild kit yourself...

I believe you are thinking about the VMP Odin Kit. It appears to have 2 of the exact same intercoolers as the Roush 2650 for 3rd Gen Coyote. Obviously, the designs are completely different with the Odin Intercoolers on the sides, which, is a superior design overall.
