That's correct, it's very strange. I can actually post a video about it tomorrow, but yes, dropping into drive is basically allowing me to hit my new RPM limiter without actually popping into gear or making the car move until the RPMs drop down all the way again.

I get what you're saying but shifting into drive from neutral when I'm at high RPMs won't actually move the car at all. I can't move the wheels until the RPMs settle back down to idle RPMs. Do you assume this to be bad on the tranny? I'm really torn on whether it's doing anything or not...
