Yeah, Mike at Soler did respond and I have to give him a ton of credit. The first time I sent it back, I emailed him with a description of what happened with the car, and he quickly arranged for me to ship the original unit back to be repaired. The unit was repaired, sent back, and worked well...
I had to take mine off. After two different TB's leaving me on the side of the road three times after becoming stuck, I switched back to the stock unit.
A shame, because like others I felt that the throttle response was improved. I think I just got the bad luck of the draw unfortunately 🤷♂️
Thanks for the clarification. I assume they use the stock springs? The description of the FP springs says that they "increase handling dynamics yet maintains excellent ride quality", then go on to state that they "may cause slightly harsher ride when compared to stock springs"😂
I'm assuming the...
I was unaware that the FP school utilized those springs. Where did you get the coil covers, and what wheel size are you running? I'm assuming a square 20" setup?
I want to grab the Steeda 2 point G-trac brace but I currently have some BMR jacking rails installed. Anybody know if the Steeda brace will interfere with the BMR rails?
I guess I'm debating style vs purpose. Realistically, getting to the track consistently is a bit challenging. Besides autocross, track days are 1-3 hours away generally.
Is the difference between the 19" and 20" that pronounced when tracking the car? How about tire availability between the 19'' and 20'; I have read in some other threads there is more to choose from when going to a 20" wheel.
Are you running 19's or 20's? Any particular reason as to one or the other? Also, any noticeable difference or preference between the Apex wheels and Signature?
based on your quite extensive familiarity with the 350 and the fpc, are there any changes or mods that you would or would not suggest an owner due to help longevity or stave off critical failures?
Mike responded very quickly and should have a replacement to me soon. He's been extremely easy to work with and very responsive every time I've reached out to him.
Thank you! This is what I needed. I had been considering different helmet options for some time, but couldn't make up my mind as to which way to go. Zamp was a brand that was new to me, and wanted to get another opinion from someone who had utilized a more "mainstream" option.
I've really been thinking of getting a set of 19x11" Apex wheels myself, as I intend to track the car, but haven't pulled the trigger since I also saw the 20" offering. The square setup doesn't require usage of any wheel spacers, correct?
