Hi Yuvraj, I was looking at the cat back system or even just axle back system (although can't find a price for this on their website). My brother has the Varex mufflers on a 302 Windsor engine (in a GT40 though which has different exhaust routing I'll admit) but when open sounds incredible...
Had the same message (from a Mariel instead of Deysha). Stated that as of last week, my car was in Maryland and should be arriving at the port soon, (actual response was "I'm not seeing any updates from this week; however, it was last in Maryland, so it should be arriving at the port soon"). If...
I too am interested in finding from new owners their impressions of the car. I have noticed several people mention that they were happy with the car as it was delivered and didn't seem too fussed about the decklid GT badge as well as liking the standard exhaust sound. I know a lot of people have...
I myself don't see any difference in the photos I've seen so far but it was interesting that someone from Herrod Motorsport here in Australia made that statement.
Herrod Motorsport are claiming that the rear decklids are different between the US market and Aus delivered cars ( http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11445877 ) due to the rear tail lights being different.
All those that have ordered a new rear decklid may find that it may not fit!
There has to be more to it than that as my car was scheduled to be built after yours (and is a V8 also) and was actually built on the 15/12/15. Etis has fully updated so I believe that means the car does actually exist and must now be on it's way to Baltimore. Why delay some cars but not others...
Maybe the unprecedented demand is in the US and they are re allocating RHD production spots to US LHD production. All conjecture really, Ford Au may have no control over this but at least fess up with what is really going on. Most likely if the truth came out, it would show Ford Au to be as...
My car gets to the port on 1/1/16, a few days after yours. The next boat leaving after that is the Tulane on 7/1/16. That would fall around the 22 day turnaround from production to sailing, or am I being too optimistic?
Don't be too sad, you will still be one of the first in Australia to get a Mustang. What about all we other poor buggers that still have to wait more months (or longer). We will have to read all about your new car and how much fun it is to drive, etc and all we can do is drool about it. Now I...
I would bet my bottom dollar that Tom Elliot's car is not one of the ones that arrived on the Parsifal on the 2/12/15 but much more likely to be one of the Ford Au evaluation vehicles and it's delivery was orchestrated to coincide with the arrival of the Mustangs in Australia for maximal...
Ford Australia have a great track record of keeping the (Mustang) customer in the dark. All the information we have been able to get regarding production of our cars in the factory and transport to the port and loading onto ships has been through readily available websites that have nothing to...
If you listen to an interview he had with the dealer principal (Chris Byrne of Westpoint Ford), Tom Elliot states that the DP contacted him 'earlier this year' and made sure he would get a Mustang. So from Tom Elliot's mouth it appears a favor was done for him as there were plenty of orders in...
I don't think that not getting the Shaker Pro is such a bad thing as a lot of people in the US swap out the factory sub-woofer and/or change the factory in car speakers as well, to get a better sound. You can always add a quality aftermarket sub-woofer and amp (+/- change the other speakers) in...
No customers have driven the manual Mustang yet in Australia but by all the reports I have read it is apparently a good gearbox. Why are you so convinced it is poxy?
Just received my Vic Mustang Plates in the mail. Look fantastic in the flesh, can't wait to put them on the car. Just informed by Deysha that car is scheduled to be built on 14/12/15 and arrive at Baltimore Docks on 1/1/16. Fits in with Ford Au's estimate of late February delivery.
Ford Australia asked VicRoads to make these plates available especially for the introduction of the Mustang into Australia. Maybe you can ask your Ford dealer to lobby your local Roads authority to do the same.
