Melbnut, can you give us a final rating for Ford now that you have the car.
It has been a long journey full of ups and downs but now that you have the car (even with the little problems you have mentioned) do the problems you had still seem a significant issue?
I know that Chadstone Ford shares a warehouse in Dandenong with other Preston Motor Group dealerships (which it is part of). That's were the cars go for pre delivery preparation and then they get delivered to Chadstone Ford itself. Not sure if the cars at the dealership quite yet.
Haven't ordered any parts yet (except a Craig's front license bracket) Was hoping to enjoy it stock for a while and if I didn't like anything or felt it could be improved then I would go ahead and do that.
I'll be picking mine up from Chadstone Ford. I was told it will be ready on Friday but I will not be able to get there before closing time so I'll be picking it up on Saturday morning.
Just interested to know what the latest version of SD card the Australian delivered cars have? I want to check this when I pick up my car but not sure what I will be looking at.
I suspect that vehicles to be delivered outside of Victoria may not show up on vehicle tracking until they have arrived in their respective state or territory and that is why they may not have appeared yet. Is there anyone with a vehicle being delivered outside of Victoria that shows up on...
Keep trying on the Prixcar site. Mine actually states delivery to dealer on 8/3/16 so obviously not that accurate. Hopefully yours will turn up soon.
It is good that it is earlier than I was expecting although it has caught me out a bit as I haven't organised insurance and I am still waiting for...
Just got a call from my dealer informing me the car was with them and is being prepped. Will be available to pick this Friday. That was a lot quicker than what I was quoted initially by the dealer (26/3/16) and a lot quicker than what Prixcar was indicating on their vehicle tracker. They must...
Prixcar has just updated my details. Pick up 4/3/16 and delivery (to dealer) 10/3/16. I would think that predelivery wouldn't take more than 1 week (unless any major rectification work is needed), so could be looking at picking up my car in the third week of March (hopefully).
I plugged my VIN (you can also use your NSC code) into the Prixcar tracker http://e2.prixcar.com.au/e2/VehicleTrackerHome.jsp#result, and it showed up as being on the dock but still waiting to be confirmed. It did show details of where it would be going (i.e. dealer).

My car hasn't rolled off the Endurance yet but it appears on the Prixcar vehicle tracker already!
Chadstone Ford. So far they have not contacted me at all (nor have Ford Australia) but have answered my questions (i.e. VIN and delivery date). All the rest (window sticker, build date, arrival at port, date loaded on ship, etc) I have obtained through this forum.
I have been quoted 26th March delivery by my dealer and I am in Melbourne. Not sure how 11th March could be possible as that would be an 8 day turn around from landing at the docks. I think it will sit in Prixcars's terminal for more than 8 days going by past experience.
Unfortunately I don't think any mustangs are scheduled to be unloaded at Port Kembla. Most are unloaded at Melbourne (not sure if any being unloaded at Fremantle or not). From Melbourne they will be transported back north yo NSW and Qld.(and SA, NT and ?WA)
I would of thought that the crossing of the international date line is factored in to their calculations. More likely it has been making good time and will get here earlier due to no delays anywhere (and I hope I haven't put the moz on it by saying that).
