It’s on the east coast. My dealer gave me that as the reason for delay. He is a friend of mine so I know that is what they told him. Whether that is that actual reason I can only hope they are transparent with my dealer.

My R is stranded in the rail yard/transfer station for three weeks now, due to the shifter issue. Does anyone know if there is a fix for these cars?

I have solved the lug nut fitment on my R but to be honest I am not happy with the end product. I am thinking that replacing the front hubs with std GT350 hubs will give me the standard length studs, and thereby allow for factory lugnut use. Thoughts? Seems a bit overkill but I really do...

I used open end lugs on the front and closed on the rear. Stud extends past the lug on the front so had to go with the open. Did not in the rear so I went with the closed. I have the 'other half' of my solution if you want to purchase it. Meaning I have what you need if you want to go the same...

What I ended up with is open chrome Gorilla lug nuts in the front and closed in the back. The studs on the front extend past the lugnut by about 5/8". Not *exactly* what I wanted to end up with, but look good. I am going to replace the standard black 6GR plain caps with a set of Ford GT350...

Regarding changing the studs, it's probably much simpler to change the hub to a standard GT350 hub.

Back to studs and lug fitment. I mounted 6G6 wheels on my R. Had to use open Gorilla lugs on front. Went with chrome. Rears I went with closed end chrome. Not exactly what I want but will deal. Changing out hubs might have been cleaner but I bet it's not an exact science and will require...

They are, and I love the look. I have not had to deal with a staining or cleaning issue. I did have to get creative with the Xpel coverage, but it worked out seamlessly.

Thought I saw a thread for a factory wheel center cap that had a Cobra on it that fit the factory wheels, and the 6G6 R aluminum wheels but I can't find it. Can some one help me with that? Thanks.
