you must be hearing something I don't sound fine to me

my 2016 does the same thing I'm used to it now as long as the signals work I'm good with it

if you go with long tube headers I suggest you move the O2 sensor there has been issues with where they are located the tip of the sensor is pointing up you'll need to have it pointing down or else you will be replacing the O2 sensor every 3000 miles

I have a set of BBK shortest myself with BBK throttle body with axle back exhaust and yes you can retain your stock cats and the rest of your stock exhaust on my car I put an X pipe but have since removed it I didn't care for the sound as far as quality of the headers was not thrilled at first...
