I applied this product under the entire center console (under carpet) and around the shifter. It has eliminated the heat issue for me. Purchased on Amazon. Thermo-Tec 14130 24" X 48" One Sided Thermo Guard Flame Retardant

Try a cosmoline spray like CRC. It leaves a very resistant waxy film that prevents rust and doesn't wash off. Also easy to apply.

Been considering the B line cats also. Is there a significant difference in sound vs stock cats? Are you also running resonator delete?

Are the repaired chips noticeble under the ppf? My car had a ridiculous amount of small chips at 5k miles also.
