Actually the connector is identical to the Floppy drive power connector, the small one (not the molex)

Well, at some point I decided that the mods to be up-to-.par would be too much and decided to swap (with a ford edge at the moment) The digital dash is amazong but when one day you will decide to buy another car, all these mods are worthless - the only way to get some cash back is to sold them...

EU has electric folding mirrors, but no reverse tilt. The function is a simple connection between button and mirror motor, so no programming is possible. BTW, I'm speaking of 15-17 mustangs, don't know about the 18 ->

I'm not referring to the sequential part, but to the different color for the same signal. Having a sequential red could be ok in germany (not in italy at the moment), sequential amber could be ok (it is strangely ok here too), but maybe a mixed red-amber sequential signal is confusign for cars...

Besides personal taste, I bet police won't be happy to see a "christmas tree"-like effect when you turn :)

You are correct about the silly luxury tax (this is only in Italy..), but I thought that military personnel in american bases in Italy get applied the US taxation system - I know that they get gas at US prices in italian gas stations..

It's not hyperflash (car tells you that a turn light bulb is broken) but flickering - a problem discussed long time ago but probably never solved.

I remember someone talking about the german mustang forum, someone was trying to fix this but I haven't heard about that in a long time. If you have one of these 'unlucky' cars, I believe there's nothing easy you can do.

It's not switchback faults - I had some cheap switchbacks from US (but actually those were from china) and they worked without issues. Some mustangs have a more sensitive electrical system that causes this flickering.

I was working on a similar design a couple years ago, I was using the same solution you are using (3d printed, led strip..) but dropped the project due to a busy schedule. Congratulations for the great result!

YES you just need the 4 connection but NO your oil pressure won't work - only vac\boost gauge. You need a tune to have oil pressure works, but I just read that EB mustangs (or perhaps all EB mustangs, not in GT?) need a sensor installed that is missing..

When I installed this mod I didn't find any connector already present. I have just removed the pp gauges\panel from my car since I'm selling the mustang. If you are interested in the dash panel\connector wires PM me.

Sync swap is not so cheap, I'm not interested in it. Google maps is ok, but you need to use your phone and it's not integrated with the infotainment system. I think that integrated nav is doing its job in a decent way.
