  1. CDC style bar - ordered!

You were definitely right about this one!
  2. CDC style bar - ordered!

It’s a genuine CDC bar. They call it a “light bar”, some call it a style bar. Since mine doesn’t have the 3rd brake light, it felt weird calling it a “light” bar. Installed it today with zero issues. Very straight forward. The instructions were clear and the CJ Pony video helped. I will try to...
  3. Convertibles running faster than 13.49 at the track?

Right on. I have a 15 GT 6M. If I get another it will most likely be an 18+ auto. They look like fun and are always in the power band.
  4. Convertibles running faster than 13.49 at the track?

Oh that’s right, I forgot when I made that post. Your trans is doing the slipping for you. Nice! Those A10’s are super impressive. I like manual for twisty road driving but I may have to go A10 on the next car.
  5. Convertibles running faster than 13.49 at the track?

Right on. Full clutch drop and pedal down or slipping it through 1st gear?
  6. CDC style bar - ordered!

Thanks for the info. by filler/trim seal, I'm assuming you mean at the base of the bar on each side where the bar meets the quarter panel trim?
  7. Window Sticker

    Thanks!!
  8. Convertibles running faster than 13.49 at the track?

Are you getting much wheel hop? How do you modulate the launch and first gear throttle? I haven't ran mine at track but you hear all kinds of stories of horrific wheel hop in the S550.
  9. Sales 3rd qtr 2019

Agreed. Loved the uConnect in my 2015 Ram. I use Sync everyday in my Ford Escape company car. It sucks.
  10. Window Sticker

Hey Joe, that is SO cool you are doing this for everyone! Can you pull mine for me? I would REALLY appreciate it! VIN: 1FATP8FF5F5361311
  11. The MT82 gets a unfair bad rep...

Same here. Maybe I don't drive as hard as others but it does what I tell it to do. I can take the car straight to redline, jam the next gear and go. Notchy at times when cold, but within 5 min it's fine. Is it the best I've owned, hell no. The best would've been my S2000, but I wouldn't call the...
  12. Convertible vs Coupe performance

    Haha, totally agree!
  13. Convertibles Photos Thread

Quick shot from Cars and Coffee last weekend. Crossing fingers for a month full of 65-70* weather.
  14. BMC GT350 Track Pack spoiler FOR CONVERTIBLES!!!!!!!

Thanks, man! I really appreciate the offer. I will keep you updated. I want to give them every opportunity to do the right thing.
  15. Convertible vs Coupe performance

I hear ya, man. That's why I bought mine too, with a lot of nudging from my wife. Coming from drag/road/auto-x racing for years and aside from my old S2000, which also had a hardtop, I was always a super anti-convertible guy. I just thought they looked kind of wimpy. I've had a motorcycle the...
  16. CDC style bar - ordered!

Can't really call it a light bar since I ordered it with the No light option, after reading mixed reviews about the light not deactivating with top up, which would drive me crazy. Plus, it saved me a few bucks and the install will be even easier. Pretty stoked! People, please post pics if you...
  17. BMC GT350 Track Pack spoiler FOR CONVERTIBLES!!!!!!!

Update: UPS picked up the spoiler on Friday last week for return. It's scheduled to arrive at manufacturer tomorrow. They said it could take 10-14 business days for refund. Crossing fingers they don't go dark on me.
  18. Convertible vs Coupe performance

I assumed so. Not a buzzkill for me. Didn’t buy the car with the intention of tracking it, but curiosity still set in about it. Are we talking close loss or walk fest?
  19. Convertible vs Coupe performance

Curious on facts or educated opinions. How much does the extra weight and potentially inferior aerodynamics affect our cars vs an equally optioned coupe? I’m not a drag or road racer but just curious. For example, if we pulled up next to an equal coupe with equal driver skill, and did a roll...

Great info here, thanks everyone for sharing. Can you give details on what year/mods/tires/transmission you have to run these mid-high 12 times?
