I have a K&N filter that was $50. Happy with that one too, but you get more āfeelā from the clutch assist spring. Good thinking on the led interior lights.
Quick update. After calling BMC on Monday and following up again today, they told me the refund has been processed on their end and should post to my bank account in the next 2-3 days. Crossing fingers that I can soon be done with this process and no more babysitting it. After all, itās been...
I love when a cheap mod blows away your expectations. Just installed the Steeda clutch assist spring/perch, and wow, night and day difference. I really didnāt like the factory pedal feel and sloppy engagement point. I think this as an absolute must for any MT owner.
First, Iām very jealous. Two, I thought I had read/heard that itās actually good to store it with the top UP as much as possible. It allows the top to remain stretched and less likely to have permanent creasing or loose elasticity. Any truth to that, you think?
I recently bought my 2015 with 5k miles and the top is perfect. I know thatās low mileage but still almost 5 years old. I have to ask, are some of these cars with problems being parked/stored outside or leaving top down for long periods of time?
Just came across this one. In a suburb outside of St. Louis.

Unfortunately, no. UPS confirmed that the manufacturer received the return package on 10/8. Not getting any response via email from Bruno at BMC. Iām planning on calling BMC this upcoming week to get someone on the phone and press for an update.
In Missouri, we probably have a few weeks of 60s-70s remaining so I will take full advantage and blow heat when needed. Do you guys not get your cars out (top up) during those sunny winter days in the 40ās just to get it out of the garage?
Thanks for the input! I had this feeling. And my wife would be the first to complain about annoyances. Sounds like we are best suited to stick with the āstableā we have...maybe a CTS-V down the road. Lol.
Thanks for the feedback. I agree that itās a personal choice and as I was typing, was thinking to myself, I hope this doesnāt come across as a justification thread, haha. Iām literally 50/50 at most on it. Iām perfectly happen with our current setup. Hoping to find people that do daily their...
I recently purchased my minty ā15 GT 6M convertible with 5k miles that I use as my weekend joy ride. My wife had mentioned that she could see herself in one as a daily driver to replace her Acura ILX. It is HIGHLY unlikely that we would have 2 mustangs. My daily is an AWD Suv company car. We...
Thanks, man. Seeing photos of your car with the bar was one of the deciding factors for me. I donāt think there is a right/wrong choice. They look good either way. I like that they appear oem-ish on the S550. Super happy with my decision.
Sweet, good to hear. The only problem I could see would maybe be the set screw that holds the bar tight, coming loose over time. Itās screwed pretty tight though so maybe not. No problems with that for you?
