  1. GT350R Splitter worth it?

    Not quite, trying to do it in my head with my iPhone calculator I think it’s about ~54 hp. 160mph * (88 ft/s) / 60mph * 126 lbf / (550 ft-lbf/s) = ~54
  2. GT350R Splitter worth it?

    P = 0.5 * rho * Cd * A * V^3 or.. Power = Drag Force * Velocity
  3. Stock 2018 6 Speed GT 1/4 Mile times

Not particularly good for it. Due to their construction (compound and geometry), most R comp's are very "peaky" in nature. The 350R front tire (which this is) behaves very much like this as it's a pretty aggressive R comp. Generally speaking, very short and stiff sidewalls along with a...
  4. 2018 GT Stock Quickest Pass ?

Looks like 11.89 to me as well. Nice.
  5. 2018 Bullitt Mustang (and Features) Confirmed in Window Sticker

No, super played out style feature.
  6. Wheels of Fortune - Signature Wheels

Out of all the Signature wheel designs you offer, which is truly the lightest when all other variable are held constant?
  7. Picked up my 2018 Mustang GT in Royal Crimson!

Is there any way you could actually try to describe the valve mapping differences between exhaust modes? Are some modes gear dependent, sort of like how the flaps close in 6th on GT350's? Maybe take some footage of the valve actuators under the car as you cycle modes? Just some ideas.
  8. 2018 Bullitt Mustang (and Features) Confirmed in Window Sticker

Looks like a light gray front caliper so not even PP1.
  9. Clutch Line Upgrade?

Just what I was going to post after reading the OP.
  10. 2018 Mustang GT Active Exhaust with Roush X-Pipe Resonator Delete Video

Has anyone has read anything stating what the differences in exhaust modes actually are? Like how flap operation mapping is actually different?
  11. All New Shelby GT350/R Full Forged 7 Spoke Monoblock Wheels- Team VIBE

Frankly, this. If you can get away with it.
  12. All New Shelby GT350/R Full Forged 7 Spoke Monoblock Wheels- Team VIBE

I don't think the loss of extra concavity should be a huge deal. I've never thought to myself that the factory R wheels need more concavity when you see an R in person. However, I do find the lack of visual complexity in the hub area on Project 6GR's as a complete deal breaker (along with only...
  13. All New Shelby GT350/R Full Forged 7 Spoke Monoblock Wheels- Team VIBE

Frankly, I've always preferred the OEM design over something like the Project 6R wheel. The factory center section is so much more visually interesting, whereas the aftermarket designs look really bland to me with all of the flat space.
  14. Camaro vs 18 Mustang H2H

It seemed to me that the basis of this thread was centered around performance, not content, as the origin of the topic was based on MT’s selection of test cars.
  15. Camaro vs 18 Mustang H2H

I don't think this is quite right, I would argue that GM doesn't compete against the base GT. Ford : GM Base GT : N/A GT PP1 : 1SS/2SS GT PP2 : SS 1LE
  16. Camaro vs 18 Mustang H2H

Well, technically you can, but it would be meaningless. Sales are ultimately a measure of consumer demand. For all we know, GM might be able to sell every Camaro they could in Europe if the supply was there. Apparently GM doesn't deem EU sales to be worth the effort.
  17. Camaro vs 18 Mustang H2H

Since when has the Viper ever been under tired?
  18. Camaro vs 18 Mustang H2H

While this sounds good in theory, it's actually not that simple in the real world. OEM's fine tune their higher performance vehicles around a specific tire, often going through multiple variations of that tire, spring rates, damping curves, ARB configurations, and driver aid maps (ESC, ABS...
  19. Closest you can get to the "classic" v8 sound.

The firing order is the same as the Flathead, can't get much more old school than that.
