  1. CAI filter

I would probably let it dry for 24 hours. Putting it out in the sun or in front of a fan will make it dry faster.
  2. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

I think the name fits just fine. I wouldn't let a trim name influence my decision to buy unless it was something extremely stupid, this most definitely is not.
  3. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Front sway bar and links were replaced with Steeda units. Leaving the factory bar in back for now, may even swap it to a smaller rear one depending on what the car needs. The bar was a mild PITA to swap, but I got it with minimal swearing. If the car had been up on a lift it would have been a...
  4. Update on Scored Cylinders

So the misfire followed the coil and the mechanic said don't replace the coil? I'd find a different mechanic.
  5. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

Yeah that’s correct, getting confused with the SC, I’m a dope. My mistake for conflating the two, and the non-sc DH is too close to the GT, with more of a price gap, so yeah understandable that it’s not moving much. (I don’t know the actual sales numbers so I’ll take your word for it that the...
  6. Which GT350/GT350R is the most OVERRATED?

    Haha. I don't like people anyways. šŸ˜
  7. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

It seems like a pretty reasonable gap to me. I'm not sure what they could or would offer to "fill the gap" between the GT and the Dark Horse.
  8. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

They're not even available for sale yet, and if you think a bunch of people whining on the internet are "the market" you're mistaken. The people who can afford and want one aren't here complaining about the price.
  9. Which GT350/GT350R is the most OVERRATED?

I agree with you on the Lime, but Yellow is never the answer.
  10. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

I'm not sure that's an objective viewpoint by definition. In any case, the market will make that determination.
  11. Dark Horse SC, who's adding one, who's replacing with one, what will it do to GT500 values?

I am not the one making stupid comments about a car I can’t afford and citing the performance of a car I don’t own…. Dimbulb.
  12. Dark Horse SC, who's adding one, who's replacing with one, what will it do to GT500 values?

You've got a basic-ass GT. Why are you even talking?
  13. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

This would make sense if Ford only offered one single model and trim of Mustang, but they don't. Counting the SC, they offer 4 of em, and each one has several different price points when you consider options.
  14. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Car went up on stands and the PP wheels and tires were sold.
  15. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

his brings me to "present day" AKA fall and winter of 2025. For some reason I decided that I was going to make it handle better, with possibly an eye towards Autocross, as well as get it a little bit away from the aesthetics of a factory-stock GT. Ford Track Dampers and BMR springs were...
  16. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

The Tremec hasn't been an option in the GT since... forever ago. From a cost standpoint, Ford has decided it doesn't make sense, I don't really blame them. I don't think people are really buying the DH solely because of the transmission. You can always do the swap yourself. It's not hard.
  17. Home made hood vents..!

That's fair. Nice little shot at the end, I do plenty of my own stuff, thanks.
  18. Dark Horse SC, who's adding one, who's replacing with one, what will it do to GT500 values?

You might see it as someone being a fool, I see it as someone who measures value differently than you do. Usually the people who can't buy one of these talk like you do.
  19. Home made hood vents..!

Yeah I saw that after I posted. I said "ready to go" which a laser cut piece of metal most certainly is not. That would save on setup fees though, a local place is going to charge a lot to laser or water jet a one-off piece. There's still more time and money involved than just purchasing it...
