  1. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

I was too lazy to clean the air filter but I eventually will - S&B offers a nice cleaning kit - so I just bought a new one. I also installed a phallic-style shift knob. The round OEM knob is just somewhat small and a little tougher to get a good grasp on. Never really liked it, and a bunch of...
  2. Ben Calimer Stage 4 MT-82

Hope it works out for you. Way too many mixed reviews out there for me to take the chance with a Calimer box. Tentatively I plan to Tremec swap mine next year.
  3. Value of wheels

Point of reference. I sold my 2017 PP wheels(about 13,000 miles on them), mint other than 2 very minor marks on 2 of them. Ceramic coated. Rear tires were 3000-ish mile NT555R2, and fronts were brand new Continental ECS02(200 miles). I got $900 for all of it.
  4. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

I sent the wheels off to a colleague to get ceramic coated(he has access to a product I don't), so while I was waiting on that, I did installed J&M brake lines from @Optimum Performance and replaced the brake fluid as well, since this car has the original fluid. Install was straightforward...
  5. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Hauled the wheels to Discount Tire and they installed tires for me. 315/30/18 Falken Azenis RT660+, there were a couple of choices I preferred but the budget is the budget. A very small caliper mod. I originally was going to powder coat or paint all 4, then decided there wasn't enough...
  6. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Test fit. TPMS put in, I bought OEM replacements as the old ones stayed with the original wheels.
  7. 2015 mustang gt pp clutch replacement

The RXT is a harsh clutch known to cause excessive shock loads and damage transmissions. You may want to look at something more mild. There are other options that can hold plenty of horsepower. The RST is probably a better choice for a car that is street driven.
  8. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Hubs were re-installed along with Apex 25mm spacers and open ended lug nuts.
  9. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Front hubs were pulled, studs hammered out, and ARP studs were installed. I didn't have a press, so I ran them in with a nut and some washers which worked fine.
  10. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Vorshlag CC plates are fitted to the struts which were re-installed. Damn if they aren't a lot of money but they're engineered so well, I just don't think anything else comes close.
  11. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

New wheel/tire fitment is going to require more camber, so the tops of the strut towers were drilled out. I turned a slug in the lathe to go inside my hole saw, because free is better than what the Steeda tool costs.
  12. Drive Modes

That is not what my owner's manual says:
  13. Performance package rear lower control arms

Those are the toe links. He's asking about the LCA bushings. The poster above me has it right. The rear is a spherical bearing, but the front is a bushing. Not specific to PP cars.
  14. Drive Modes

You can also turn off Advancetrak by holding the brake pedal and the drive mode switch together for a number of seconds, at least on my car. My gut feeling is that this does not fully disable stability control, just neuters it though. Anyone know for sure? Do I need to pull a fuse to...
  15. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

Right, what kind of mentally stable person quotes themselves with that sort of reply😂
  16. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

It’s a discussion forum, people are discussing the value of the car, not sure why you object to that.
  17. 2015 mustang gt pp clutch replacement

Not entirely accurate. The FP Street Handling Pack uses different springs than what came on the Performance Package-equipped cars. But yeah, all the GTs used the same clutch assembly.
  18. CAI filter

That's kind of a hard question to answer. Depends on the environment. If it's just street driven, and not on dusty/gravel roads etc, with a reasonable amount of miles, I'd probably clean it every 10K miles. Roughly. ETA - here are S&B's recommendations for their filters. How often should...
