I'll add this as a data point............. My 2019 had the 2K rattle. It was a little louder when cold but was still audible when warmed up. Car started using a LOT of oil around 4K miles. Scored cylinders were the cause so short block and cylinder heads were replaced. DI pump was reused...

Same experience here. I had a 2012 with the MT82 and now have a 2019. They both shift great. Maybe a little notchy when cold but I've never had a manual that wasn't.

I put Shrader kit in mine and I'd be real surprised if it weighed more than 10 lbs. I removed the seat belts as well so probably a 30 lb saving.
