What I was getting at was that the decklid influences the downforce not the spoiler. Unless the spoiler is attached better than the previous models. I work in a bodyshop and I have R&I'd the spoilers on 05-08 and 09-14 gt's and v6's. The duckbill spoilers are attached better than the pedestal...
On paper the 2014 gt would run 12.8-13.2 stock in the quarter and my best was a 13.0. I just don't want to feel like I am losing anything. I am getting a new Mustang regardless most likely a GT since my truck is 12 years old now. Also I am tired of the auto. My first Mustang was a standard.
I plan on driving the EcoBoost before the GT and if I can't notice too much of a difference then I might, but since my Lightning is a blown 5.4 with 400rwhp I can't imagine the EcoBoost appealing to me.
I have never felt the need to name a car. I call my Lightning my red truck and my 86 F150 my blue truck. Other names like S.O.B. apply when they aren't running right.
