Iāve always found it funny when I pull in with one of my gas guzzlers and fuel up in a few minutes, while EV drivers are waiting. Iāve seen the look of frustration on a few faces. š
Didnāt have any perks from my parents jobs. But I did have the perk of growing up in a stable home with both parents that instilled in me a good work ethic and the value of a good education. Thatās gotten me to where I am today.
2016 Ram 2500 and a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. Still have them. I didnāt trade anything for my GT350.
No plans for anything else. Iād have to get rid of one, or build a bigger garage.
No regrets
Love the voodoo and the sound it makes.
Wish it stayed in the drive mode I set it to.
I had a dealership try to get me to trade my 2020 GT 350 for a new GT 500. They wanted 130k for it and were offering me 5k more than I paid for mine on trade. Not gonna happen. I almost told the salesman that he was Fing crazy.
When I was teenager, I was rolling up to a red light and it turned green as I neared the inspection. So I got on the gas and t-boned and pickup running the red light. He was at fault and no one was hurt, but now I always make sure that traffic has stopped before I go. It saved my a few years...
When I take mine in for an oil change, I make sure they know it takes 10 quarts and to use the oil specified in the owners manual. Iād do it myself, but I donāt have a lift, and the time and hassle of getting it up on jack stands isnāt worth the cost of having the dealership do it. Iām not...
In my area, I donāt know of anyone getting pulled over or ticketed for a loud exhaust. I think most cops in my area are car guys. Had a few check out my car at a gas station, and not looking for infractions type of looking. Talked about cars for 10-15 minutes. Had one pull up beside me at...
On a long road trip, all highway, 6th gear with the cruise control set 10 mph over the speed limit, and in normal mode, I got 22 to 24 mpg out of the voodoo. But the way I usually drive, I average around 10 mpg. Donāt care, I bought it to be a toy, not a daily driver.
If you buy any car with...
I canāt tell from your pic, but if youāre still running the factory Cup 2ās, swap them out for a set of Super Sports or some other street tire. Itāll tame down the harshness of the ride and make it a lot more enjoyable for you and your wife.
2020 coming up on 9000 miles. No issues so far, just an annoying squeak from the rear end at low speed when I cross things like speed bumps. Iām going to have it checked out when I take it in for service at 10,000
Love almost everything about the car.
The one thing that drives me nuts is that it defaults to normal mode on startup. I wish it would stay in the mode I set it to. I didnāt buy this car to drive in normal mode. Sport should be the default.
Definitely get the passenger side catch can if you plan to drive it as intended. I havenāt tracked mine yet, just spirited driving on the back roads, and mine will have 1/2 to 3/4 inch of oil in the can after a 1000 miles. As others have said, check your oil often. I got lucky, I can go from...
