That's all fine and dandy, my G35 had the same keyless entry, but for people like myself who are overly paranoid about the car being locked I would use the door handle to lock the car and then proceed to hit the lock button on my key FOB 2, 3, 4+ more times as i was walking away just to be sure...

I hate the horn honk when locking a car. It's obnoxious and IMO, rude. In my previous car (G35) I was able to turn it off by holding the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for ~10 seconds and it disabled it. Not sure if that is possible in the Mustang.
