I understand your point and agree with you for the most part. No point in having an extensive dialogue about something so trivial
Still wanting to know what gas was used because if we are to assume DR's are standard fare at the strip then we must also assume race gas may come into play...
Impressive. Here's another video of the same car with a bit more footage. They are claiming a potential 1000HP on that SC which seems a bit much for such a relatively conservative tune.

Let me preface this by saying I do not yet own a Mustang but have spent more hours on this forum than i'd like to admit.
The fog light switching is normal. Several other car manufactures do this to make the turn signal more easily visible. Audi and Porsche are two that come to mind.
As for the...
Now that I've looked at the pictures for a good 30 minutes....
Did you put the Quartz coating on the entire car? Rough cost if I may ask? Can it be waxed and/or worked over with a DA polisher?
Love the wheels, probably one of the few combinations so far that i actually like!
That's...
I think we are on the same page.
I know Kooks has their header offerings and I think my position remains the same there provided you are comparing to another header back setup. When I made my comment about all aftermarket exhausts having minimal power differences I was implying a true apples...
In short, if i like the sound, yes.
At the end of the day it is common knowledge that freeing up restrictive stock exhaust systems will net you a power increase. It may be 5HP or it may be 20 or more, it depends on the car. I cannot and will not subscribe to the idea that this exhaust will make...
I know that you can change the default frequency for notifications as well as individually when you subscribe but is there any way to change the frequency for a thread you are already subscribed to. Am I stuck just unsubscribing and then resubscribing with the desired frequency? I have 15+...
I'd DD this in a heartbeat, provided the weather was suitable. I'd still have a beater or second car available for bad weather and snow. It's not a limited edition vehicle and while it may hold it's value a little better than a normal GT, I don't think these will ever make it to real collector...
I have no interest in fluff and thus no interest in the tech package or any other package that adds said fluff. They can keep the radio and the a/c for all I care. The only music i need is the soundtrack of that flat plane crank burbling sexy noises out the exhaust.
The track package...
This!!
I am sure there will be ADM on the first batch that hit the lots just like there were with the GT500 but this is a 4-5k units per year car. Once the initial hype dies down these cars should be sold at MSRP just like everything else. If your dealership won't work with you, go elsewhere.
I will agree with you on the fact that a premium trim option for the V6 may not be trivial. However, I will add that the V6 is meant to be the "budget friendly, affordable" mustang. A fully optioned out V6 with premium trim would put it at a price point well into ecoboost territory...
Impressive numbers from just a tune and DR's. What gas did you guys run on these passes?
Locking the thread because you don't agree with the stance other forum members have taken is a little silly. Assuming that all 5,700+ members on this forum are familiar with drag racing terminology is also...
I know there were a few threads on the subject a while back but none of them have been updated in some time (that i've seen). Has anyone heard anything from Borla about an independent product line that differs from the FRPP stuff? I fell in love with their exhausts after hearing numerous S197's...
Hello All,
I will be ordering my '15 in early spring so I still have some time, but I was curious if anyone has taken out the OEM HU yet. I will be getting a base GT with PP since the premium features, IMHO, are mostly gimmicks or don't interest me. Unfortunately, this leaves me with a head...
