Even if TT were to designate Twin Turbo, the Raptor is a twin turbo V6, the GT is a twin turbo V6, why should anyone assume this is a twin turbo V8?

We have them on our Explorer and there is a filter under the seat. If that wasn't replaced or cleaned, perhaps that's the reason for the decreased performance.

This ^^^^ The traction control and stability control are not going to be happy if the tires are spinning at different speeds.

Yes, but I think the lowest limit is still highway speeds, so 65 or 70 mph. The one nice thing is that it can force the traction control to stay on, so likely limit burnouts.
