  1. Clutch / throw out bearing / trans question...

To me, this is more like an input shaft bearing.
  2. Free Soler Prf. Throttle Bodies for GT350/500

I've got a 2019 GT with the Ford Performance power pack that utilizes a GT350 TB. I'd love to test one of your TBs out if your interested in testing with this setup.
  3. Coyote Engine - Everything wrong with it turns into a pretty darn good review

I have a couple of issues with what he said which had nothing to do with the Coyote..... 1) Synthetic oil was the cause of all the sludge in that engine because it was never allowed to warm up. I've never seen or heard of this. He was asked why one bank was dirtier than the other and he...
  4. Pricing a 2019 Mustang GT Premium PP2

I received an offer of $38K from Vroom a couple of months ago. I have pretty much the same car minus the Recaros and B&O.
  5. Whats a Little Thing You Love and a Little Thing You Hate?

I love the active exhaust. I absolutely hate the fact the seat doesn't return to the programmed position on startup. I've tried all of the tips I've read on this forum but it's still a crap shoot if the seat returns to the driving position. You'd think Ford would have figured this out by now.
  6. Ford Performance Tune for 2018+ GT

I installed the kit on my GT this weekend. It gives a nice SOTP improvement. I noticed a couple of things about the kit i haven't read yet. The throttle body adapter necks down to a mm or two smaller than the opening in the manifold. I'm assuming this is by design since it's a machined part...
  7. Mach 1 fender flares

    Those suckers are pricey!
  8. Mach 1 fender flares

I've been waiting for these to be available for my 19 PP2. I'm not getting the right part when I search the number on that label. Do you have a Ford part number? That number returns an escape flare with a totally different number.
  9. S550 Lithium Ion Battery

Is it really worth $750? I can think of better ways to spend that money starting with suspension.
  10. PP2 OWNER EXPERIENCES - RAVES/QUIRKS

I have the Cooper RS3s as well. 305s on all 4. I don't think I'd want to track them but they're a great street tire.
  11. 325 Tire?

I had 325s on a set of SVE SP2 wheels and I didn't like how much they poked. They never rubbed however.
  12. Help! 2020 Mustang GT tick and rpm needle skip

The ticking sounds typical. The thumping would concern me however.
  13. Dog Rides in Back

I love my dog but I guess I must love my Mustang more. She's never been in the Mustang nor will she ever be. The Explorer handles dog transportation duties. Her name is Shelby BTW.
  14. Frustrating to park it all winter

Nice going Dave. Now I know who to blame.
  15. 2K Rattle Clue - Took video in engine bay...

It's not the DI. My 19 had the 2K rattle. The short block and heads had to be replaced due to excessive oil consumption. The same DI pump was put back on the engine. No more rattle. I've heard it will go away if you get rid of the sound tube.
  16. Exhaust valve stem wear, why?

Have you run a fingernail over the damaged part of the stem? Could it just be seal material that has attached itself?
  17. Any Use a Quick Jack Car Lift?

I have a 7000EXT and no issues with it being too long. I use hockey pucks on top of the rubber blocks supplied by Quickjack to protect the rubber blocks. Works great!
  18. Goodbye to Ford...2018 Mustang Gt ownership

"There's 0 instances of people having issues with engines on 2018+ engines, unless they themselves fucked with the car. I don't know where you got that info, but it wasn't from here. And sometimes random missfires happen. If they cleared the code, and it went away and didn't return....well...
  19. Has anyone used the Anchor Room Paint Protection Film?

I've had it on my PP2 for a couple of years now. Really helps with protecting the forward areas of the rear quarter panels. It may not be quite as invisible as the XPEL material but still unnoticeable unless pointed out. I'd use it again.
