Those floormats look perfect! They must have been installed by a floormat zen-master!!
Still need to buck up and order a set of my own - dammit.
Sidenote - that color is t3h secks. :headbang:
Have you been black flagged for sound? If so, what track? 103db is DAMN loud and there are high compression track-dedicated cars running long tubes all the time there.
Xpel Stealth on my matte stripes has been holding up well and given me zero issues. Xpel Ultimate (glossy) is indeed the product for normal gloss painted surfaces where you want to retain the gloss.
Can't wait to see it 50 Deep!
Happy pre-Bday! I couldn't think of any better way to celebrate it than on track ripping laps on T-hill's Cyclone! Let me know if you're in by emailing me @

A group of friends and I are looking to put together a mid-week *private* rental of Thunderhill's 3-mile track mid October (single day). Dates are tentatively Tuesday, October 10th, or Wednesday the 11th, or Tuesday, Oct 17th. This isn't a cheap endeavor The sweet spot between low car counts and...
The calipers themselves indeed have rock/debris strikes, not damage from any cleaning agents. All of my wheels have chips in the barrel also, along with the aforementioned paint lifting. Two separate issues.
They/we are. My results clearly vary. Lots of chips in the barrel, but then again I'm having two wheels and the wing warrantied due to paint issues so it could be outside of debris contact.
I too have experienced caliper powdercoat damage and wheel barrel damage on my CF R wheels - no track time as of yet. Disappointing, but it is what it is...
There's a dealer local to me with a technician I'd bet money on, but this dealer is in the greater Sacramento area. Not sure if that's an option for you... 50 Deep can chime in on this tech's skillset also.
Ewww.
Between the cooler issues and the spotty oil consumption issues with these cars, I'm surprised this hasn't become a broader issue *cough*widespread lemon buybacks*cough*
My R splitter looks like I beat it because it owes me money. I'm careful but even at slow speeds and sideways like an 90's lowrider, I drag. I drag twice exiting and entering my driveway. I can't avoid it.
Does anyone make titanium rivets like the ZL1 items? I need something harder than...
I like the ease of installation but I see no triangulation as compared to the Brey Krause harness bar. I'm curious how much, if any deflection one might see under heavy braking with a "healthy" driver such as myself. Let us know your feedback after some track time please?
