it will be dearer than the supercharger kits, basically because you get more with it, like full exhaust etc
will have dyno numbers next week, will be street tested daily for 3-4 after that to see what/if any issues arise.
we are RHD so you are basically throwing money away buying anything from the US hoping to modify it and do it. it's more viable and economical starting from scratch.
i'm helping the Northmead guys piece up their one, they have alot of knowledge with low mount twin turbo, they have been doing...
have been using Romac for over 20 years with good results people just look at the MMR thing and the rep attached to them. end of the day Romac is a well established company for over 30 years. has there been failures, yes, has ATI had failures, yes. every brand in the world would have suffered...
the Yanks can tune them no probs, have worked closely with them remote tuning for many years. The Mustang software is very different to our Falcon's and alot of our local tuners are like :headbonk: at first, but once you sit down and actually look into it it's not as hard as first seems...
will start to bring more stuff in after we get car out and test it, there hasn't been many people message to ask about BMR stuff which is surprising as it's the best on the market. If there's stuff you are chasing can get it in, and spec out whatever you want be it for drag, street, circuit etc
Soooo spend $65k on a car then try and save a few hundred dollars on what is the most integral part of a car (not just motor wise but driveability), yep, that's great logic.
by the time you buy the SCT x4 ship it to Australia it costs roughly the same price. for instance we charge $1600 to tune Falcon/Mustang with x4, $1000 if customer has their own x4 or wants to use HP Tuners software, so that basically means the x4 costs $600. by the time you buy from US at...
the way i look at it is what are the manufacturers bringing out, those guys need reliability amongst other things seeing as they offer warranty etc, the majority of new forced induction manufacturer built cars are turbo. manufacturers like BMW, Mercedes etc are pumping millions into turbo...
love the setup, well done guys. we are doing exactly the same here in Australia, being a workshop car, any, if any spare time a little work gets done, so been a long process.
unfortunately our headers are not of the quality you guys have, ours have serious restrictions due to steering rack and...
yeah mate, lil 4L 1UZ, they are out a Toyota V8 very similar to our modulars. both quad cam, 6-bolt mains. we have old Garrett cast wheel 62mm turbo's on it, pushing about 1200hp. we are going to put some Precision's on it and let it eat. has went 8.24@166 in full street trim, 3200lbs.

well done mate. Yes, we use the Dyno Dynamics here in Australia, you are right, you will find the car will do the same MPH over the 1/4 with cars showing 10-20% more rwhp on other US dyno's, the real dyno is the black 400m one.
