I'm getting so much conflicting advice about what we can and can't upgrade on a base car I think I'm just going with a powered sub and be done with it.
They also have no sense of history. They say things like "manuals are old" when the slush box has been in use since 1940. Some even think DOHC is newer than a centrally located camshaft. BUT I know guys my age that are perfectly happy writing a check and driving the most advanced car they can.
