I wish I could retrofit rev matching in my 2018 but that's just not possible based on what I've researched.
The car either hangs revs when I short shift (some corners call for that to avoid spinning) or locks me out when I rev too high.

I run the canyons in LA all the time AND I do track days because I have the balls to go 10/10 and you don't. You haven't once driven this car at maximum and thus you have no idea how these cars act under repeated hard braking or hard acceleration.
I hear from all sorts of 6 speed owners that they have rev hang issues. Even non-coyote owners know these engines rev hang. Let's be constructive instead of insulting
Pulled off both wheel hubs and found both thrust washers were broken. I'm so happy I bought two when I went to the Ford dealership (it was an hour drive away each direction).
Put everything back together and all the lights cleared as soon as I got up to speed. No more fault lights on the dash...

Update: the rear passenger side thrust washer had cracked. I pulled everything apart and replaced it. Took it for a test drive and now the car reliably clears the code after a restart before it comes back again. This leads me to believe that before it may have been two thrust washers where now...
This thread is what leads me to believe that the thrust washer is the solution, as they have all the same symptoms as me. Parking sensors no longer work and my power steering isn't helping much at all...
