Any one else go this route?

It was a very tight fit to the wheel wells, I was over slightly to the passenger side. Id say I had 4 inches on drive side and 2 on the passenger side. Those race ramps you show are for maintenance. I have TR-8's I love the car, gets a lot of attention too. Already have neighbors stopping by!

Status to relased I believe means its ready for transport. In other words, what ever it was being held for is cleared and should shortly be loaded for shipping

Bought and loaded! To add to the fun it's raining here today so loading in the trailer was extra fun! Time for the 5 hr journey back. Pictures to come later!

For an R potentially yes, as Ford was not building them in the colder months. Although I suspect that they will start to ramp up quick now that the weather is getting better.

I know you said you called FP, but did they give you any indication of whats going on? Do you have the VIN handy, I might be able to search through the Ford system for some sort of answer.

If only that were possible! The nearest car rental shop to the dealer is over 50 miles away. I'm in decent shape but I'm not running that far! And in all honesty, there is still a lot of salt on the roads here still.

Just arrived at the dealership. I can't get there for a few days either. I thought waiting this long for the build would be hard, but this is even worse!!

I'll be doing this very thing on Thursday,first time with an enclosed trailer so I can share my experience after that. I plan strapping to the wheels with vulcan straps and leaving the car in neutral with parking brake. Will be crossing straps and towing for about 250 miles!

Mine was about 8 days from the end of the build. Trucked to dealership a couple of hours south of Chicago.
