I'm in the same boat and now not getting a response out of my dealer over the past week! I sent a note to Deysha, but I'm sure she can only do a little at a time.

My contact is traveling right now, but I'm working on digging up the true answer.

Thanks, I called and talked with Issac(sp?) and he said he doesn't have visibility to the VIN's but can tell build schedule. So I guess kind of the backward version. I'll keep pressuring the dealer.:frusty:

My dealer just told me that I now have a production week of 11/2 but no VIN yet. Finally great to see progress towards getting the car...hopefully I can drive it home from the dealer...otherwise it will be a trailer queen!

I used to follow the Z06 forum before I decided on this car, and I can tell you that when they ran into problems looking for tires, finding the michelins in stock became the biggest problem, not the price. So looking for alternatives is not a terrible idea.

I work for a major tire company(Continental) and I'm hoping they come out with compatible sizes so I can get a decent deal. Might have to change up the sizes a bit to get something that works.

I was told by my dealer that 10-1 is is retail order. Most of us will just get 10's as priority. To get a higher number, it has to be changed by the regional rep. 1 is the best you can get/moves you to the front. 20 would be as 50sonic said, its labeled as a "stock" order.

Agreed with Bullitt, kind of taking away what this car is about. Plus the car has a 12:1 compression, I think you'd be fighting predetonation or at the very least have to run very small amounts of boost. Seems like a lot for a little....but through time some tuners will have it figured out...

They way I kind of view the 2015 vehicles is as Production Intent prototype builds. There was a lot of time that went into each of these making sure that the tooling was right from all suppliers, that they had the production process setup correctly and the 2015's were built and triple checked...

So following the Ford playbook for releases this is the vehicle level milestone of Job 1. Meaning that the plant can now ramp up production. This would mean they have confidence in what is being built. Those of you with 15's won't have to wait much longer. Those of us with 2016's...expect to...
