  1. Fossil Fuels are Not the Enemy

EVs are a nice fringe mode of transportation for those that have the money.
  2. Fossil Fuels are Not the Enemy

lol yeah we would have the worst code ever. Thats about the silliest thing I have heard this year. In addition the oil companies they are supposed to be coding for would be out of business. Perhaps they can get low paying jobs installing Chinese solar panels?
  3. Steeds progressive sports springs and Ford performance x spring s ride/handing

  4. GT 350 R LONG TERM VALUE

I'm full of it. Ask me anything you like.
  5. GT 350 R LONG TERM VALUE

I've had cars that have gone up in value and some that had low depreciation but I would never count on that.
  6. GT 350 R LONG TERM VALUE

Not unless they never come out with a better car.
  7. GT 350 R LONG TERM VALUE

Factor in lost opportunity of the $ and the costs of insurance, storage and maintenance plsu the lost enjoyment and I would say no.
  8. Any one Else have PMS today?

I'm getting new Michelin AS3+ next week but it doesn't make sense to turn the insurance on, and get it dirty just to put it back in the garage for another couple of months. Driving on these roads is no fun either and I have no where to go with this damn Covid going on. I just try to focus on...
  9. 2021 Break In Period & Oil

I think break in is a throw back to olden days. The rings should seal right after first engine start. Follow the mfg's recommendations and maintenance schedule and use a good oil (not necessarily a boutique oil) and drive it IMHO.
  10. So long, and thanks for all the fun - goodbye GT350R, hello Porsche 911

Very nice. One of my dream cars is a red GT3. Currently I am Porschless after having owned 5 of them over the last 12 years (nothing newer than '08). One day.
  11. Any one Else have PMS today?

-20C day/-30C night and spring is along way away so yeah. I've had a summer car for many years. Its like getting a new car every spring. My new wheels and tires will be ready next week to make things worse.
  12. Covid Shots

I have a rule....watch the strippers or eat but not both at the same place
  13. 2K Rattle Clue - Took video in engine bay...

I don't have this issue but have seen a few posts. I was surprised that the cause is not known. It sounds similar to direct injection noise. Does it go away above 2000 rpm or is it drowned out from other noises?
  14. Tires on the GT350...safe for winter?

As most of us know tires always present compromises so you have to chose what is important to you for your driving and what performance aspects you can live without. For my daily drivers I run AS and winter because I am not willing to make compromises. Its a pain having to store a second set...
  15. Fossil Fuels are Not the Enemy

When they come up with a real viable alternative call me. Up here the war on oil by our own government is just a tax grab by those who either don't pay the tax or are rich or both. Our PM also wants a gold star from the global elite for environmentalism....at any expense.
  16. Tires on the GT350...safe for winter?

I think there is a post solely on wrecked GT500s. Don't they have the SC2 tires?
  17. Pirelli tires now on PP1 mustangs?

Mixing tires is fine until you get into a situation such as bad weather or an emergency maneuver. Some tire shops have refused to do it due to liability. I was at a tire shop and witnessed the worker refuse the use of their air line to a woman saying she was late and needed to fill her tire...
  18. Pirelli tires now on PP1 mustangs?

I'm sure most of us would be surprised as to how little Ford pays for tires and how much they fret over $50 (or less) in cost.
  19. Stuffin’ it, a.k.a.: What’s the most you’ve ever packed into your Mustang?

You all have done well. I couldn't even fit our suitcases in the trunk through the narrow opening and they are just std sizes.
