Speaking from experience as I work at a dealership, if the clutch is messed up due to wear/abuse it is not going to be covered under warranty. Clutch repairs almost never are. The only instance it would be covered is if there was another issue or part that caused damage to the clutch.
As far as...
Just curious and maybe they are members on the forums here. Coincidentally I saw 2 Bullitt's this weekend when I was heading towards Grand Rapids from Duluth in Minnesota on Friday at approx 3:30-4pm as I was heading further north driving my 21 Mach 1. They are the only Bullitt's I've seen other...
The window sticker picture you posted said blue ember on it though?
edit: Oh nvm that was a different member I just noticed
@WildHorse how did blue ember look in person?
How did this color look in person? I absolutely love all the pictures of that blue ember that I've seen and would 100% be the color I'd get the car in if I had enough money to keep my Mach 1 and get a dark horse.
Definitely a unique noise then. Look forward to seeing what you find out if someone else gives good insight or someone does happen to figure out what is going on.
False knock like coming from the front of the car or undetermined area?
I'd maybe check the drive shaft/u-joints if it happens taking off from a dead stop.
When this is happening are you on an incline or decline? Are the rear and or front end on a level surface or staggered somewhat like going over a dip/drop? I experience this when I'm on a fairly uneven surface and sometimes even experience the rear end feeling like it wants to lock up as well...
Mine is kind've a mix between doing it myself and having a buddy(tech at the dealer I work at) do it for me. I supply the oil and filter which I typically run royal purple and then use an oem filter.
I will say that anyone who is leery about a dealer doing it, they will pay for their mistake if...
Worst thing about vehicle buy backs are the value of the vehicle is greatly affected and it doesn't even matter what the issues were. It's honestly stupid and sucks for any future owner if they want to get out of it at some point.
Just make sure you are paying far less than what you feel it's...
I almost would say list it yourself as well. The only money back you will get on the xpel etc is if someone else wants or is interested in that. I also read people mentioning things about the owners kit as those by themselves will and are selling too. I know some are going for this or that...
If I recall correctly, and I'm not saying for sure these are the numbers or not, however, I believe I remember seeing something like 429/439 hp and 390 ft/lbs or so of torque on the Mach 1 dyno's. I just don't remember who's car it was on the dyno and where.
My cords were showing on one tire and nearing on the other front tire at 4700 miles when I had to replace my tires on the Mach. Was pretty irritated as I had wanted to try and get as close to 10,000 on those as I could and from what I had read was possible if not tracking the car which I did not...
I start in whatever gear the car wants to start out at and rarely use the paddles. Almost exclusively run the car in sport+ with track exhaust setting after the trans gets up to temp. Otherwise the car lives on track mode exhaust 100% of the time except when starting the car before 8 am because...
I'm not tuned just stock with xpipe on 315's and yes traction control and advance trac off too. Usually if I'm starting with some revs I will go up to around 2-3k rpms before tires start spinning with brake on and then dropping the brake. No spin except on the upshifts from 1-2 and 2-3 slightly...
I only want to comment on my vehicle and have not really driven another mustang other than my own. I have a 21 Mach 1 and am running stock tire size with handling pack 305/30r19 front and 315/30r19 rear. The only time I can break the rear tires loose is going around a corner or on the upshifts...
The race stripes don't look factory either. The spacing looks to big between the stripes so I think they may have added those too? I guess not just spaced apart further but those stripes are like twice as wide as they should be too. All the extra stripes need to come off. Also definitely not...
I love how my Mach 1 sounds with my resonator delete and for the most part love hearing almost anything with louder exhaust roll by.
With that being said though, I can't stand harleys or any type of bike that is just obnoxiously loud. I don't think they sound good, again my opinion. There has...
Also, the dealer is going to be the best place to check for the most up to date location. They do have a little more information than what you can get out of a vin check on the ford site even if you've got the VIN. The tracking on that site isn't the best and is actually quite poor.
