  1. Painted rear window louvers

    Any other angles? Looks good!
  2. Hopefully a GT350 owner sooner than later. Advice-opinions appreciated.

I lucked out in buying a 2019 model that wasn't purchased till 2020, so drivetrain warranty is through 2025. Not sure what I'll do at that point (buy an extended warranty or sell). Not many people with 100K miles here, and I've put on 10K in my first year.
  3. Starter heat sheild

Yeah, mine did that heat soak thing for 2 days. Has still been 100% reliable since those days - I'm just worried about getting stranded at my next track day. Definitely going to be getting chocks so I can let the car cool down while on in the future. I found this thread where someone mentions...
  4. Starter heat sheild

Oh, very interesting. I didn't realize you had already run the blanket. Were your symptoms like mine? I drive the car pretty much every weekend and have never had an issue with the starter. It was 100% repeatable at my last track day though, when I come off the track it doesn't work. After 10...
  5. Starter heat sheild

Regarding trapping hear from the starter, that doesn't seem like an issue for me (but I lean towards trusting the engineers). My starter flakes out only when hot from tracking and has been dead reliable otherwise. Though, too your later point, maybe it's due to heat on the cable not heat to the...
  6. What did you do to your GT350 today?

That seems pretty similar to the product offered by @pilotgore.
  7. Starter heat sheild

I just ordered it for my 350. Mostly stock but am tracking somewhat frequently.
  8. Studs/hubs, spacers, and lug nuts - questions

Sorry for reviving from the dead. You imply keeping hubs around. How often do you replace them? What signs are leading indicators you need to?
  9. Starter heat sheild

Dumb question - how hard is this to do?
  10. Starter heat sheild

I'm still on stock starter. It has never skipped a beat on the street. On the track, I cannot restart the car within ~15 min of turning it off.
  11. R exhaust

Haha, sorry I didn't mean to over guilt, just offering another perspective. You should make your things how you like them, it's just also nice to think of those around you.
  12. R exhaust

I won't try to talk you out of it, but just realize that you are really needlessly imposing on the world around you with exhausts that loud. The 350R exhaust with valves open is already loud enough that I'm embarrassed in public. On back roads in the mountains, my friends can hear me echoing...
  13. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Just got my car back from Trent Musser getting my alignment done and various suspension components (springs, sways, camber plates, etc.) Now I'm waiting on my OP mustang hubs. I've got my Apex EC-7RS wheels with FP cup 2s mounted and ready to go on. With how much camber I have now, I'm...
  14. New Jersey GT350 Parting Sale

Might have more luck/interest posting all the prices and pictures. I personally just bought wheels, but I would have been super interested before that assuming there were prices and photos.
  15. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I've debated it with my 2.3 yr old, but don't think I'm ready to turn her front facing.
  16. At 13,466 miles Sport Cup 2's gave up

I put PS4S on when I got it, and while I've loved them as street tires, they're pretty wrecked after my first 3 trackdays. Went with Ford Performance Cup 2 this time, and think I will follow that standard cup 2 next time.
  17. At 13,466 miles Sport Cup 2's gave up

I wonder if that explains some of the rumors that it's faster around track than the 350.
  18. At 13,466 miles Sport Cup 2's gave up

I feel like they tend to get overheated at the track and feel great, but not too bad. Definitely manageable.
  19. At 13,466 miles Sport Cup 2's gave up

Very interesting, I wonder what tires the Mach 1 got...
  20. High-Flow Catalytic Converters

Better than mine! I'm at 5mpg flat at Thunderhill.
