Yeah I have done the same thing, will work for a few days then the squeal returns. I guess I'm just going to turn the rotors and replace the pads, I'm sure that will take care of it.
Yeah I wish I had just spent the extra hundred bucks or so initially and purchased an entire intake system. I loaned that stuff out to a buddy who was dyno testing about 5 different setups. I think the stock airbox makes OK power below about 5k but falls off quickly after that.
I ran the no tune required version for about 2 months and ditched it for a roush. Could not tell a difference in power and the drivability using the OEM maf was way better.
I replaced my PP rears at 10k fronts still look good at 20k I will say the wear was definitely more towards the inner side but I've gotten use to this on IRS equipped cars. I think my cobra was the only car the wore the tire close to even.
PonyGrrrl I also have a magnetic gt and want to do the CQuartz but no one local is a dealer/installer I would love to see the difference it made on your car if you want to upload a picture.
The G2 kit is pretty good. I would stick with non-metallic colors. I did the gold and had issues with the metallic particles pooling on the calliper. Overall came out OK but could have been better.
