I suppose what I mean is that Ford sell a car with an intelligent oil life monitor but then don't have the business model to back this up. The manual says to get the oil change done within 500 miles of the message, but I'll have done at least another 1,000 miles before I can actually get mine...

So I've just tried to book my car in for its first oil change, and I've been given a date 3 weeks in advance - is this usual and what I've got to look forward to in the future? I'm really shocked but then again I've never had to use a Ford dealer before.... snob that I am! I could understand...

Thank god for winter tyres, heated seats and, oddly enough, windscreen washer that doesn't freeze - never had a car where the washer doesn't freeze but mine's been absolutely fine.

Thanks, did see that site but they were only advertising a 3/4 size plate and as the spacing on mine isn't exactly legal I thought it best to not draw too much attention!

Anyone using a vinyl stick on front number plate? Will the normal number plate dimensions fit if I get one made up? I've got normal plates stuck on at the moment, but can't remember whether they fit exactly?
