  1. Power steering groaning

Yeah, definitely not cold tyres as I notice it as I'm reversing into my drive after a 30 mins drive home. If I ease off the steering wheel it does stop, and it's only started to do it recently. Looks like I'll have to get the garage to have a look.
  2. Anyone been to Caffeine & Machine?

Well that's a bit odd, I did a search before I posted to see if anyone had mentioned it - maybe I was looking in the wrong place.... Shame we missed you, we were there on Saturday.
  3. Anyone been to Caffeine & Machine?

I'd definitely be up for a meet as it's only 5 mins down the road :like:
  4. Anyone been to Caffeine & Machine?

Anyone been to Caffeine & Machine yet, just outside Stratford on Avon? We're just down the road and have been a couple of times - great place for a coffee and food, loads of interesting cars turn up and the atmosphere and decor are really good, with both the odd car and vintage motorbikes...
  5. Getting excited

Try being a female driving a Boxster - I had someone try to kill me once by blocking an overtake, and I never get let out at junctions etc. In the Mustang people give me the thumbs up and actually strike up conversations at petrol stations!
  6. Power steering groaning

Ah OK so my assumption was wrong!
  7. Power steering groaning

I've noticed lately that when on full lock I'm getting a groaning noise from the steering. Assuming that the power steering is hydraulic rather than electric, could this be due to the oil needing to be replaced/low? It's done about 16,000 miles and I assume it wasn't changed at the 10,000 mile...
  8. Spotify

Yes I know, but I don't want to have to take the phone out of my bag to plug into a cable. It was all working fine with the app until a week or so ago :frusty:
  9. Cooled seats

Yeah, it's an odd feeling - people say the heated seats feel like you've wet yourself, but I find the cooled seats feel more like that. It's a shame they don't cool the back of the seats - I've read other comments on here with some people saying they do and others that they don't, but mine...
  10. Cooled seats

Well hopefully my bits don't dangle ;) but I can see why nature put the ones that do on the outside. But I do agree with the comfortable pants!
  11. Cooled seats

When I bought the car back last September I thought I'd never in a million years use the cooled seats (heated seats are a must for me), but apparently if your bits are cool, the rest of you seems cool - who knew!! :clap2:
  12. Spotify

The bluetooth streaming works great, thanks  Spotify pauses when it disconnects so all good.
  13. Spotify

Ah OK, so as long as I've got Spotify playing, it'll just stream it through the car? - I suppose that's a compromise but still not as good as the Spotify app working properly - so what happens when it disconnects from the car - does it continue playing on the phone and I then need to turn if...
  14. So how was your Ford experience today?

Anyone NOT had the oil changed on the first service? My oil life monitor came on at 6k miles, had it changed at 7.5k, now due for it's 10k service - don't really need to have the oil changed now, but the dealer can't tell me how the service schedule works with the Intelligent Oil Life Monitor...
  15. Spotify

I don't know, I'm a bit of a luddite and only just upgraded to a Blackberry Priv and therefore my first experience with Android from Blackberry OS. When you say Android Carplay, is that like Android Auto?? Which means I need to plug it in... How do I use bluetooth audio streaming??
  16. Spotify

I know Ford stopped the link with Spotify in January, but I've been using an older version of Spotify and disabled updates and it's been working fine, until sometime last week - anyone know if this will be due to a Sync 3 update? The message says that Spotify hasn't loaded properly and to check...
  17. What mode to peeps generally drive in?

I can't use Sport+ smoothly round town, and then forget to change once I get out of town. I'm still on P Zeros, so have been 'forced' to use wet mode in the rain. Thinking about Track mode, apart from on the skidpan, I've seen no sign of TC, even when I ended up facing the wrong direction on...
  18. A lot of people selling up ..

Mine's my daily car - 9500 miles in 9 months. Absolutely love it and don't think I'll get rid, can't think of anything else I want at the moment. Had a couple of sh*t my pants moments, but I now use wet mode  Looking forward to getting rid of the P Zeros in a couple of months - one of my...
  19. So how was your Ford experience today?

Is there a way of seeing the monitor before the warning pops up? I can't seem to find it on any of the menus.
  20. So how was your Ford experience today?

Yeah but 10,000 miles seems an awfully long time to go without any check at all from new. I'm quite happy to get an oil change every 6k miles (it's a performance car so it's what I'd expect), but are you saying the interval warning light is premature? The manual says to do it after 5k miles if...
