Coming back from Sydney a couple of weeks ago, noticed this funny smell in the cabin, thought it was exhaust fumes.Checked the cabin was closed off from the inside,it was.Looked out of the rear view mirror, what the? Smoke was pouring out of the exhaust, did I make a mistake & purchase a ‘diesel’...
Yes,maps as well.Go onto Cyanlabs.net/Ford.You will need @ least a 16gb thumb drive.Check out a YouTube video,a guy who goes by the name of ‘Venturing four’.Title:Sync3 V3 to V3.4.He updates his 2016 Wildtrack.Don’t forget to format the thumb drive to FAT32.As you can see by the photo,my maps...
Thx,I have just been researching this, there is a later software version(3.4 20292)this is off ‘Cyan labs’,Ford hub.You can also update the maps via this. But it looks like ANZ 119 is the latest atm. There is a YouTube video on this download(Australian guy.)
We are also having severe shortages of PS4s in Australia.I had to order a couple in(they had a couple in stock.)Mine were the last untill more came in,in about 6 weeks.
Yes,but if you need software/firmware or map updates, were are you going to go?Cost is irrelevant to me.They also ‘throw’ in road side assist.(worth around $100 per annum) so really you are paying for it in the cost of a service($400-$500ish)
Would not say it is good consumer laws.Ford Aus have been doing it for a few years now,not every manufacturer does it here.I believe MB charges,as does Audi. Most Japanese & Korean brands are free on an annual basis(or when updates are available.)
