I'm not one to agree with nova too often but he makes a great point. I have been paranoid about every noise my gt has made since the day I brought it home. And it's getting tiresome. 99% of noises are absolutely normal.
Just enjoy the ride and don't waste time being paranoid. Life's too short.
Not so much rumble in brake apply. I actually had to brake hard once and it was a smooth stop.
Rumble is most notable in the steering wheel, I want to say I can feel it in the tires but not sure as I'm honestly not mechanically inclined.
Rumble in seat...eh not too much but a little yes...
So I noticed on a road trip that when going above 80mph I could feel a vibration or rumble. Couldn't quite tell if it was from tires, wind or worst case the dreaded drive line vibration.
Little info, 16 gt auto with the original all season pirelli tires. 14k miles. I've been neglecting mytire...
So two years ago my mustang was rear ended in bumper to bumper traffic. Took it to the body shop and they said most of the damage was just the bumper.
Replaced the bumper and all seemed well except now I notice the car creaks pretty bad from the c pillar. Mostly when I just start it and turn...
Lol it's totalled. Headlights alone are 3k so that's more than 10% of the value.
For your sake I hope it's totalled. Also, are you okay? Looks like a mean hit. Also did the airbags deploy?
Hope you're alright.
Okay I've got a couple things to say. First of all I've literally had nightmares of wrecking my car at the track and being uninsured. It lingered with me and hit me deep in the gut. So op I feel for you so much.
To me that's a jump out the fucking window moment because a perfectly good car is...
Now I have a 16gt so less power but sort of similar experience. I was out cruising the other day and in normal drive mode the car does seem to take a minute to wake up.
But you put it in sport and keep the engine around 4k rpm and the acceleration is explosive. The pulls from 4-4.5k to redline...
This. This right here. This majestic post is why Ford doesn't give a flying f*** what any "die hard" forum loyalist says. Because this guy is on a s550 forum complaining about how Ford is "killing" the mustang after 14. Yet sales went up. They gained massive market share over Camaro and are...
Well okay now you're making valid points and opinions. In your original post it seemed you were using hot new topics as indicators that Ford's financial health may be declining. However it sounds more like you're upset with the direction Ford is going. They are definitely trading legacy and...
Op seems clearly heated. I don't say that to add fuel to the fire but just as an observation.
Ford isn't struggling. I find people who don't understand economics or business put way too much into a companies stock price. The stock price really has nothing to do with how the company is...
You owned a Cadillac xlr? I have to ask how was it? Growing up that was my all time favorite car. I always said I'd buy one when I had money. However by the time I had the money I found their styling didn't age well and my love affair with mustang was running strong already.
But damn id love...
Sometimes when I drive my mustang fast it gets loud and my heart starts beating fast. It beats hard. I feel the testosterone build in my veins. Then before I know it I'm fully erect. Makes quick grocery stores runs very awkward.
Wow I find all these stories interesting. Especially twin turbo as the California roadtrip is so relatable to me.
I always hear of people cross shopping and test driving multiple cars before choosing. I think the only car I would have even considered test driving would have been a Challenger...
I'm just curious how many cars you all test drove or researched before choosing a mustang. I know for some of us mustang isn't a choice but more of a lifestlye!
This is my personal story. was walking past an Enterprise one day with a friend and we were bored. Outside they had a race red...
Thing is the Miata is a totally different beast. You will enjoy it a ton. Plus a new mustang will come out in a few years and you can trade back then.
Pretty awesome of you to point out some of those details which would give others a good deal. True mustang man there.
Post some pics of the...
