I have been using "the absorber" artificial chamois for 40 years. Dry the car. Wipe down the windows and wipe down the interior. No soap needed to get windows clear and dust off dash. I use this on I my tinted windows also.
Occasionally I use leather prep on seats. Been using "Leather Love"...
Mustangs are rated at 1000 lb trailer capacity. Mustang hitches are rated at 2000 lb trailer and 200 lb tongue hitch capacity. This is class I. I have a Curt hitch on my 2019 Bullitt. I installed it myself. It required relocation of the active exhaust wiring and was a significant PITA to...
I noticed mine wasn't connected. I connected it. Later I broke it while changing the cabin air filter. It doesn't really do much, so I left it. With the little it does and it's seeming fragility, I'd go cheap on that part. I would be interested to know if the non-OEM is actually better than OEM...
The ramps look very nice.
However I would not use pedistals that high on top of the quickjack. This can cause the quickjacks to slide and kick out from under the car. I had this happen when I stacked the supplied rubber blocks two high under the pinch welds of a Ford Escape. The quickjacks...
If it's not 14+ volts when running then it's not charging properly. I've had this happen in previous vehicles when the diodes in the alternator are failing.
Head to your favorite auto parts store and ask them to test your charging system. They should be able to produce a graph. If it is not...
I’d recommend against unplugging the “Dyno plug”. It is suspected that this also disables ABS brakes, which may not sound so bad, but that also removes front /rear brake bias. That can’t be compensated for by good driving. At an Autocross I watched a PP2 rotate into the woods and hit a...
That all looks great. I'd add a drain for a toilet in the garage in addition to the sink plumbing. It looks like a long walk from garage to inside house bathroom.
I had a 1976 Cosworth Vega with 5 speed. It had a safety interlock from the factory, in order to rotate the key for removal, the transmission had to be in gear. This also meant to take it out of gear the key had to be in and rotated. I believe camaros had the same, as did some other cars. So...
I have used and currently have Dr Color Chip in Bullitt Dark Highland Green bought maybe 3 months ago. As others have said, it works very well for chips. For light scratches not so much, but what does...
FWIW. I changed the tensioner stuff on my 2002 GT at just shy of 200k miles. Both the original and replacement were both hydraulic and ratchet setup. One of the new hydraulics failed, but it kept running on the ratchets instead of of dropping the chain. If the current setup doesn't have the...
Well I do have two sets of stock Bullitt wheels. I am also thinking to have the stock rear 275s remounted on front wheels. So stock staggered tires fitment with all front rims, if I want to ride around on the less aggressive setup and save the "racing" tires.
Then I would use the 4 rear wheels...
I am looking to buy a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS tires for the stock wheels for autocross, Power Tour, and regular street driving. This is not my daily driver.
I am looking at 285/35/19 for the rear and 275/35/19 for the front. According to the tire specs, they will work with the...
Sounds like a Bullitt might be a good fit, if you don't want an automatic. Be sure to get one with magneride.
While some don't like the gearing 2018+. The transmission was updated for durability a bit, including stronger shift forks.
Insurance companies share information. It is likely registered in a shared insurance database that you acquired the track insurance where any insurance company quoting you will see it for you and / or the car. I have heard of this on other forums where folks were surprised that their regular...
I have this kit for my 19 Bullitt with Magneride. I installed the tune first and there was an apparent but not dramatic difference in damping through the modes. Not harsh feeling to me. Later I installed the sway bars. The bars made a pretty dramatic difference in lean control and the car...
Why not just use bolt on wheel adapters that have their own studs, instead of the long studs and adapters?
I would worry about misalignment and stud stretch/strength with the lug nuts so far out from the hub and a large "loose" spacer in between.
I have a 2002 Linocln Blackwood. These came with a 5.4L 4 valve mod motor. Pretty much a detuned 2000 Cobra R engine. It has 130K and runs like brand new.
My 19 Bullitt only has a little over 20k on it.
A Lincoln Blackwod can be found in reasonable condition for reasonable money. Then you would have a unique truck (only 3500 made) to park next to the Mustang. It has a 5.4L 4-valve mod motor too. which is basically a detuned cobra R motor. Limited slip included for the snow. I bought one a...
