  1. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Gentlmen, I would like your input on something. We are preparing to take my build to the next level. Recently, I acquired a forged gen 3 Coyote short block. This is a Texas Speed block with Darton sleeves and forged everything. I am looking to go big power and run well at the track. I am...
  2. The 10 Fastest Mustangs MotorTrend Has Ever Tested

A couple years ago I found myself in a situation where I wanted to buy a performance car. I looked at all the usual suspects: Camaro, Charger/Challenger, Mustang, Vette and surprisingly the 3.0 Supra… When I read all those mags like Car and Driver, Motortrend and Consumer Reports they all...
  3. 2020 Roush Stage 3 Value

It’s worth noting the 21 and up RS3 have the extra radiators built into the front like the GT500.
  4. 2020 Roush Stage 3 Value

Depends on mileage and condition. I see them going for $50k+ with lower mileage. Under 10k Here is an example: https://www.facebook.com/share/1GU3x8RrZJ/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  5. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Saving money is always good advice especially in our current economy. For me, I decided to go all in with my car and build it to be badder than anything I could trade up or in for. I will be posting and asking for more input in this thread later on. But, in short, I’m not sure where I wanna...
  6. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Thanks for the insight. My conundrum is if I port my Roush I don’t want to go with a cowl hood. I will look into this more. I put a call into Ray @DRP Motorsports to ask him as well. Ray has lots of experience with these cars and I’m curious what he says…
  7. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Quick Question: I know most ported Roush kits have the Soler 103mm TB. My question is do you still need the adapter to make the Edelbrock 103mm TB work like the Soler?
  8. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

My car is tuned both 93 and e85. Where are you located again? I’d let you come and test drive just to see how beastly this thing is
  9. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I know my opinion in this vein is probably not popular...but, if you do the math as follows: Roush kit-$8k FI Interchiller Stage 2-$2500 Install-$2k Now, you can find these parts sometimes deeply discounted, the P2 Roush kit especially. You are basically similarly priced as the Whipple Stage...
  10. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I just wanna say it’s COMPLETELY INSANE to see my boost gauge hitting 12psi over and over again in 90F temps and the car recovers quickly and is ready and begging for more…lol
  11. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I drove my whip before and after Interchiller install and it’s like night and day…all for the better. Interchiller can and will rectify 90% of the problems associated with this Roush kit. The Hellcats have a very similar system which is built in stock. I drive the heck out of my car in the...
  12. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Even tho failed cats are a huge problem, actual engine failure due to failed cats was/is very low according to this thread at least. Interchiller can and will absolutely help alleviate heat soak, failed cats and all other associated problems and issues
  13. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

You should easily squeeze around 650-700 rwhp out of this kit with LTH, free flowing exhaust and aftermarket tune on 91/93. My car made 693 rwhp on 93. (M6) As others have noted, you should definitely run Boostane Professional if you wanna max out this kit on pump gas... When you are ready...
  14. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

@Brady MacDonald you will want to hear directly from @engineermike for more info on how to run e85 without a return style fuel system. Also, I know it may be overkill to answer your question, but I am quoting a post I wrote last year summarizing all the material of this thread. Good luck with...
  15. Most Reliable 1500 hp Short Block??

My apologies in advance, but who exactly are you going to have do the work? Apparently I did not see your builder mentioned earlier...lol
  16. Most Reliable 1500 hp Short Block??

I have the block I linked you to sitting crated on my garage floor at the moment. Message @beefcake and he will get hooked up…
  17. Most Reliable 1500 hp Short Block??

Not sure what the consensus is here but Texas Speed has fully forged Gen 3 Coyote motors for very reasonable pricing. https://www.texas-speed.com/p-18800-tsp-forged-50l-coyote-gen-3-short-block-resleeved.aspx There are several examples of these built motors from TSP making big power and...
  18. Would you get the Stick or Automatic

I currently drive a 22’ GT boosted making 800+ whp and the car has been Tremec T56 Magnum swapped. Amazing experience every drive and highly recommended.
  19. Talk me into a Borla Switchfire vs Ford Performance X-Pipe

I currently have a 22' GT Roush P2 with all the goodies...E85, 2.8 pulley, SW LTH w/ high flow cats and the Borla SF res delete flowing into stock OEM non-active exhaust. Car sounds absolutely insane. I've had people chase me down on the highway and ask what kind of exhaust I was running...
  20. Nothing to see here - please delete

I spoke to the physical location of Shelby American store and they confirmed this is a straight up scam…beware…if it’s too good to be true the very often it is too good to be true…
